The rules of our store have been the same for many years. We do not allow people to touch any animal in the store unless you are going to buy said animal or in the market for the animal. Our puppies do not have all of their vaccinations so we like to keep as little contact as possible with them so they do not get sick from any outside source. That being said, the puppy in question was getting looked at by a family and they were going to buy him. The employee holding him had said many times politely that she cannot touch the puppy. Seeing as she had not backed up and continued, she was then told to take a step back. We keep these rules in place to keep our animals safe.
