We got some short videos today of She's Uptown Lady, she's a Lady Griz' first filly, she is just getting started and one of her first experiences with a rider. I like how she moves and looks. Thank you Steve and Dana Stacy-Cole

There's no good way to spin the race results, Mr. Shorty ran gamely and hung in there as long as he could against a real good bunch of horses, but faded at the end, and he got claimed.

Mr Shorty will go next Saturday against 7 other runners. It is nice to have one going back to the starting gate and he should be in a good spot. I would be surprised though if he went off as the morning line favorite.

We did not get to enter Mr. Shorty today after all.
The race we were going to enter was for non winners of three, which we believed he was.
This chart is from the race we claimed him out of where he very plainly ran second. The problem is, the winning horse was moved to last because of a bad test, moving Mr. Shorty to first, thus giving him 3 wins and making him ineligible to enter today's race. So we will look for another one.

We are sidelined until about 2PM. I-25 from Cheyenne to Wheatland is closed to all high profile vehicles under 40,000 pounds due to high winds.
So to keep the horses safe, the mule happy, and to avoid really high fines, we will wait.
