"My beautiful and amazing Mom left this Earth on Jan 8 after a brief but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

I can't possibly begin to express the profound heartbreak and emptiness we are feeling. She's always been my biggest supporter, my friend, my hero. Her devotion to her husband, children, and grandchildren was unconditional and infinite.

Our world is very dark at the moment as we navigate this new life without her light. Please pray for her and our family.

Sorry it's been a bit since we've posted an update. Everyones doing great.

Rose & Toes have a fully accepted adoption and will be going to their family in CT in January as soon as they have their surgery. They are going together!!!

Tiger & Oreo both cane from Woolmarket this month by amazing citizens . They will continue to stay on foster care until they weigh enough for surgery to be spayed.

Peanut & Pepper are doing great. They've both been neutered and had shots & are ready for adoption. Pepper has had multiple vet visits to determine the best treatment for his leg. At this time, multiple vets all agree its best to leave his paw alone & it be tiny like "Nemo's special fin".

Prayers for Wild at Heart Rescue tonight. They took in 2 more birds. All 3 are settled into the safety of the rescue center & out of the upcoming bad weather.

1. Please pray for this Heron as he's in bad shape. Took us a bit to locate him & he was cold, muddy & wet in the ditch. This guy came from Gulfport.

2. This owl came in tonight with issues regarding his ability to fly. Concussion suspected & possible wing issues. From near Harrison County/Jackson County line.

3. This Pelican came in yesterday from Biloxi, after being hit by a car on Popps Ferry Bridge. But is doing better than yesterday.

This beautiful girl came to us yesterday from a kind old lady in Harrison County. Fixing the Coast & Harrison County ACO helped network her to us. She has an injury to her front right paw in the wrist area. She has been spayed & recieved shots, but will remain with us until her leg is tended to.

This cuddle bug needs a name!!! She loves being with people!!! She doesn't mind other cats or dogs . Please help give her a name & help us find her a fur-ever home!!

Violet (gender unconfirmed) was reported to Wild at Heart by a concerned citizen in Biloxi as having an issue with its back leg injury. This raccoon is a young adult that is very people friendly. Unfortunately this is what happens when neighborhoods keep popping up & destroying the wildlife natural habitat & people feed them.

Baby Chocolate is 1 week.old today & come out with mother, Carmella to meet the rest of her herd!!
