Unfortunately, this message is to notify the community that due to a very sudden change in personal circumstances, Nox Grooming will be permanently closing effective immediately. This comes as a shock to everyone including myself, but, as mentioned, due to a change in circumstances this is the only possible outcome.

I want to thank everyone for their patronage. I greatly appreciate having been the person you trusted to pamper your pet. It's been an amazing 2+ years serving this community and I wish I could continue but unfortunately this isn't possible.

If you'd like my notes for grooming your dog to give to a new groomer, please don't hesitate to text me at 607 444 5614 and I'll get those notes to you if I have them. Any deposits made for future appointments will be promptly refunded as well.

Thank you all again so much for your support and patronage!!

HOT DOG! ⚠️ Heat Advisory from 11am to 8pm today. 🌭☀️🥵
Keeping Your Pets Cool in a hot day!
Do:
✅ Check the weather before you walk your dog outside, and limit exercise if it’s above 85 degrees, Certain dog breeds are less tolerant to heat than others; such as short-nosed breeds like Pugs, Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, and Shih Tzus, which are more susceptible to heatstroke.
✅ Check the sidewalk or asphalt before exposing your dog’s sensitive paws and risking severe burns. It’s best to keep your dog in shady, grassy areas instead if the pavement is too hot. If it is too hot for you to hold your hand on the pavement for 7-10 seconds. If it is too hot for you, it is too hot for your dog.
✅ Walk your dogs during cooler times of the day ~ early in the morning before 10 am or when the sun goes down after 5 or 6 pm in the evening.

Don’t!
❌ NEVER leave your dog or cat in the hot car! Temperatures can heat up quickly, and even when you think it’s still cool out, the temperature in the car is likely 5-10 times as hot!
❌ Don’t leave your dog outside in the summer heat. Not only can your dog’s skin burn in the heat, but they can get dehydrated and even suffer heatstroke.
❌ Never leave them outside in the heat for more than 30 minutes at a time if possible.
❌ Don’t forget to give your pet water before you leave the house. Dogs can become severely dehydrated especially in the hotter summer months. So always be sure to keep enough water for your dogs or cats no matter what!

this of result of the hard work i put into the Koffman SBB607 Accelerator Program, set up by Sulaiminah Burns and the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator!! it was by her insistence that i even applied and went through the program (thank you!!) it was such a great and helpful program that enabled me to apply to a grant worth $2,000 with help from the Binghamton Small Business Development Center! thank you so much! this new equipment from Shernbao USA will help so much to ensure to give pets a good experience when they get pampered at Nox Grooming!
