Our Train and Play Group Classes are typically ran during the colder months, it’s a maintenance based class where you work on the things you need to master in an environment with other dogs and people present. It holds you accountable to getting out and about at least once a week throughout the winter months.

This class is for past and current clients only.

We love seeing clients get to know one another, making friends who have the same goals, & that provide the same structure to each of their dogs etc.

It’s great to have supportive friends in the dog world!

What an amazing group of dogs and owners who truly are putting in the work each and every week! Tonight was busy & loud!

It’s crazy to think about where half of these owners started in their dog training journey. Some people may think “they are lucky to have such a good dog that can obey, not react, listen the first time every time, and hold duration in positions in public, & more.” But it’s not luck.. it’s hard work, dedication, effort, working through the struggle, communicating clearly, being consistent, making it a priority, seeking guidance, & more.

No one here got to where they are today by luck. We all start somewhere.

This handsome guy has officially completed his 10th lesson. Lug is just under a year old and he is a very well mannered boy! His owners put in alot of work and made his training a priority. We finished off his course of lessons with a trip to home depot to work on being bored in a busy environment, socialization especially with men, & letting people approach without breaking position or being defensive.

We have a light week of regular boarded dogs, which means more one on one attention 🥰

🔹We offer regular boarding to all of our past and current clients to give them a safe, quiet, home like environment for their dog to stay while they are away.

🔹Why only past and current clients? We want to have a relationship with the owner and the dog prior to them leaving, it ensures the stay to be less stressful for both owner & dog.

🔹Boarded dogs get mental stimulation, and physical activity to burn energy throughout the day.

🔹Side note: You can Upgrade your dogs regular boarding stay and add some training to provide extra mental stimulation.

Went to check the Binghamton Pond Festival out before next Saturday where we will have a booth set up.

It was a great morning for some awesome exposure with the pups!

At a friends house for dinner, dogs roaming around he’s never met, multiple people, and lots of food present. Board and Train Samson held his place for 4 hours, what a good boy! Duration use to be so hard for him especially with distractions present. Proud of how far this big stubborn boy has come. Things use to be on his terms, he’s starting to understand he gets to do and experience more if we are not constantly testing boundaries. #christmaseve #DogTraining #boardandtrain

Hi,

My name is Kelsey i am the Owner and Dog Trainer of M&A Dog Training. I strive to keep my clients happy and to make dog training affordable to the everyday family. I have a strong love for animals and own 3 dogs of my own. I am a volunteer for Bright Star German Shepherd Rescue: where i do in home visits to make sure the families are fit to adopt, as well as i am one of the dog trainers listed on there website, i transport dogs as well as occasionally foster. I am also a volunteer at the Broome County Dog Shelter: i help train dogs that struggle to get adopted.
