Meet Marshmellow, this bashful 2-year-old lady may take some time to warm up, but she has the potential to be the perfect companion. Marshmellow prefers serene nooks and warm rays of sunshine, often found curled up in snug spots for a restful snooze. While she enjoys the company of gentle souls, she can get overstimulated at times. She thrives in tranquil settings and favors low-key interactions. With patience and care, Marshmellow will share her soft purrs and gentle companionship. Stop by the ARL today to meet Marshmellow!

After 217 days in the shelter, this 4-year-old boy, Benji, is still waiting for the right person to give him the love and patience he needs. When he first arrived, Benji was shy and fearful from his rough past, but with some time, patience, and a few treats, he's blossomed into a loving, wannabe lap dog. Benji needs someone to take the time to build trust, and with the help of our behavior specialists, we’re here to support you every step of the way. While Benji would probably love to be the only pet in the home, our team will gladly facilitate a dog-dog meet here at the shelter for Benji to ensure a good fit for everyone in the home.

Plus, he even comes with a free online training program from Bogey’s Academy to help him adjust to his new home. Could you be the one to give Benji the second chance at a loving home he so deserves?
