It’s a very special Wishlist Wednesday because of all of the Black Friday deals going on right now.

Yesterday, I updated the Chewy Wishlist with cat trees on sale (most under $50) for Black Friday. If you’re shopping outside of the Amazon and Chewy wishlists just make sure the cat tree has good reviews and will be sturdy… Like a $25 cat tree likely can’t support an adult cat, ya know? I tried to do my best to pick ones with good reviews.

What it looks like when I’m typing up a post for you 😅

Thumblelina is passed OUT lol.

Thumblelina is the kitty with the nerve-damaged limb. Her “wrist” stays permanently bent and the reason why I decided not to amputate when she was a kitten was when I saw her swing her arm into the water bowl and stir the water around. Even though she doesn’t have any feeling in it, she still uses it and it doesn’t affect her quality of life.

Some may question why I am against eye removal when they’re at this age. This is why. Their bodies just can’t handle it. As long as they’re on pain meds, antibiotics, and eye meds an eye rupturing is better than death. Tigerlily is a recent example. She was too sick for surgery and recovered wonderfully without surgery. I’ve been pressured before to remove an eye and both passed away right after surgery… it made me sick. I was heartbroken. My blind brothers Doppler, Sonar, and Lidar, Nomad & Gypsy, and many more are alive just because I waited. Uno’s eye was removed at 5 months old. Please wait and give them time to get healthier and stronger.

I got off work today at 4 then went straight to Tractor Supply to pick up a 12-bag order of pine pellets since it was 2 for $10 yesterday (placed it yesterday). Once I got back to the rescue, I had to quickly get all of the packages and donations in… mattress included… and this is what I see through the cat room door 🥰

Cats are so funny. They’ll immediately get on whatever it is I bring inside.

My delinquent child is always hopping the fence now that she knows she can do it. She, at least, doesn’t run off when she hops the fence… Just gotta sniff everything. Dashi is the dog who was returned by her foster-to-adopter as a puppy because of how much of a crackhead she is. I’ve had her for almost 2 years now and immediately got her DNA tested. Anyone remember her two prominent breeds?

Oh I laughed with such excitement when I pulled up to the rescue on my lunch break to see FIVE more enclosures for the little kittens!! I’m so excited! Thank you all SO much!

Single kittens like Spark Plug, Zoey, and Tigerlily are getting enclosure upgrades 🙌🏼
