Sharing again for exposure!

Hi Tribe! We are good on kitten dry food but desperately need adult dry food for the kitties. I’ve noticed that a lot of the Purina is unavailable on Amazon right now so Chewy is probably the best option this week or you’re welcome to do Walmart delivery or send a monetary donation to go towards a store run ❤️

Shoutout to Rex’s foster Abby for doing her best yesterday evening letting out the dogs at the rescue while I was gone! Having to FaceTime your dog so he would stop freaking out and get back inside was a highlight 🤦‍♀️

Beep beep! I’m going out of state today and will be gone for 12 hours so my more high maintenance cases are going for overnight sleepovers! Holland’s runt and next skinniest kitten, along with spina bifida kitten Zoey, are headed to Shelby’s. The two neonate babies left yesterday to stay with Jen and Abby will be coming over to take care of the dogs, the other kittens, and Sinny 🙏🏼❤️

Oh my goodness! I love you all so much! I’m just now starting to open up today’s deliveries and these frail kittens are gonna be set! These are so high calorie and the little ones who need to put on weight absolutely love them.

Thank you, Albert, for chopping down the yard for the dogs! This drought has left a lot of dead vegetation plus lots of bamboo trying to grow. Cookie is unimpressed and would like to go back inside to lay on the couch… Look at all of those dirty paw prints on the door haha.

And then there were 2 😞

The weaker black kitten passed away late last night but I’m trying to focus on the good. The remaining two boys are doing well and nursing from the ni**le again! I’ve been having to tube feed them which is tedious and time-consuming so I’m thankful for this little victory.

These boys will be going to a foster tomorrow and I hope they continue to beat the odds and thrive 🙏🏼❤️

Audrey came to the rescue heavily pregnant (remember that picture of her and over a dozen kittens in a big animal trap brought into animal control?) and her little ones are growing so fast! So thankful ❤️

Special needs kitty Topsy has been having bathroom issues the past few days. He’s been wetting himself and not acting like his usual self. He is neuro (presumed to have CH - wobbly cat syndrome) and doesn’t have eye lids with visual impairment. I had to give him a bath and immediately got him in the brooder to warm up quicker and I just don’t have a good feeling. Neuro cases are so tricky. I hope with another round of antibiotics, subq fluids, and oral dextrose he’ll improve but losing control over his bladder function suggests a neuro decline. This week has been a tough week :(

Update on Harper. Bloodwork looks good so this isn’t related to liver or etc. The plan is to send her home with more intranasal midazolam and monitor. She needs to have one more seizure to start on phenobarbital, which I already have for Jude. If she has another this weekend, she’ll get a dose from the vet and we’ll start on that.
