When this client contacted me he informed me that he had parkinson's disease and he just wanted to be able to walk him again. Scooby is a great dane and when he pulls, HE PULLS.! I am so proud of Scooby for learning to walk without pulling now.. it will definitely take some more fine tuning but for his first time he did FANTASTIC. Im also super proud of myself for being able to let this owner walk with his dog again.!

Started training with this handsome man Scooby today. He was actually one of my fav boys at the daycare i used to work at and i was ecstatic when his dad found me on fb. Scoob here is a little bit of an older gentleman but he took to training like a fish to water.
Whoever said you cant teach an old dog new tricks apparently never trained a dog 🤣

Miss Buffy wouldn’t even let me pet her when we first met because she was so scared, now she’s taking commands from me like a champ.!!

Here’s Maverick’s 2nd training session. Keep in mind one of the the most important things in training is PATIENCE.!! This boy has lots of energy so it takes a couple times of asking him for a command for him to actually obey. I wanted to post a video of how training really is. it’s asking a dog to obey to one command, even sometimes multiple times.
By the end of this training session he was hitting every mark.! Today was the first time he learned the “down” command and the “leave it” command, and by the end of it, I had him laying “down” AND “leaving” treats on his paws.!
We will be working on these commands the next few sessions, and I can guarantee he will have it down pat and will be doing it the first time I ask.!! Be on the lookout for Maverick’s videos these coming weeks and watch how he goes from a wild boy to a well behaved boy.!

Here’s Maverick on his first day of training. He’s definitely a wild boy and is going to take some work but he did absolutely AMAZING. Before starting training today he has no idea what the word “sit” meant, after his session he hit the mark every time I asked.!!

Ringo is also working on a “stay” with “come” as well. It took him a few seconds to really understand what we were doing but once he got the hang of it he really took off.!!

Mr.Uzi is one CRAZY pup. He had absolutely NO manners before we started. He literally pulled me down to the ground on our first session. He’s still not 100% where I want him to be but I have no doubt with all the progress we have made together that he will be working perfectly for me soon. Today we worked on walking on the leash with multiple different distractions.

Here’s Bunny strutting her stuff in the barn. Working on leash walking with lots of distractions such as chickens, cats, other humans, and lots of crying puppies. She did fantastic and is only getting better and better every time we train. We have been working hard on “leash walking”, “sit”, “down”, and “leave it”. When we first started she was jumping all over me, chasing the chickens and cats, and also pulling against the leash so hard I could hardly walk her. I am SO proud of all the progress she has made.
