We have a long way to go to get this thing started, but with lots of friends to help, it can and will happen.
So enjoy today, and stay tuned to see what all God will do for each of us this year.
Just a thought;
“If you are not where you hoped or wanted to be in life today, then something in your life must change or you’ll be in this same place next year!”
Change your:
1.) Mindset - make up your mind that you can and will do or achieve it. Don’t have another person’s mindset, have your own! You are not your parents, teacher, pastor or that best selling author that makes millions off of your failures. You must do your own thinking and have a strong belief system to know why you think and do the things you do. The world is ever changing, and I find myself needing to change some things my parents taught me along the way. And many can’t do this without feeling like they are not honorable to their parents. But know that your parents had to change the way their parents were to make you who you are today, and we too must do the same. You can change the way you think and believe by changing your Mindset. All things are possible.
2.) Milestones - set goals. Write them down, read them out loud to hear your goals everyday. Post them in plain sight to remind yourself of where you’re at and where you’re going! Share your goals with those that might have similar interests because your family and friends can cause you more harm than good. Negative remarks towards your goals and telling you it’s a waste of time. Know that a leader is usually alone, and must know the direction they are headed in order to lead others. Once success happens, others will follow. Most people will live and die a mediocre life because they are scared to dream or take that chance. But a leader is ready to leap or jump into the fire, but they also know where the fire extinguisher is located.
3.) Make a Plan - Most of us don’t go anywhere without our phones. We use it to call, post or find out info, or as a GPS to locate a place or destination. Life is a series of trips. Each seasons of life comes with different trips that leads us closer to our final destination. Make a plan to reach your destination, but never give up if it simply turns out to be just another trip. Because on every trip you travel roads you’ve never been on before. With this it brings wisdom and knowledge which prepares you for the trips ahead. Life is not easy, some roads are made or dirt; you get dirty and nasty. Some have gravel, and rocks are being thrown at you or might even crack your windshield. Then you have those that have lots of pot holes, which can cause flat tires or damage to your car. And then often you find those new paved smooth riding roads. You know those you feel are safe and nothing to worry about. Then you’ll find that when it rains even the smooth roads can be dangerous. Knowing that those drivers around you might have just got onto this road beside you. You or they might be driving in a dirty, nasty car, with a cracked windshield, flat tires, damaged vehicle, but somehow you were able to keep moving. You had a Map, showing your destination. You might have taken a few wrong turns along the way; but now you’re on the right road and you’re getting closer to your destination. At that moment you’ll realize many cars beside you, behind you, and in front of you, and even a few broke down along the way, have all been trying as hard as you to be there, so once you arrive; be sure to help them on their trip. And in life, after all, the fun in reaching our final destination is only the TRIP in the first place. The rest was all for our benefits of learning how we needed to act once we got there!
Happy New Years my friends; and just slow down, relax, and enjoy the trip.
