Hey B'ham Family and friends of Dog Days of Birmingham. A relative of Sue who lives in Asheville is reaching out to us for help.
I need your help. After hurricane Helene, I joined forces with two business owners, in Asheville to create the WE ARE grant fund. We're trying to raise $1 million to support businesses in Asheville suffered significant loss. People can individually donate as sponsors. We are looking for corporate sponsors outside of western North Carolina, and we are selling amazing ultimate Asheville get away raffle baskets for $20 tickets.
Our community is incredibly tapped out. There is so much need and we are trying to get the word out nationally about our fund. We want to bring attention to small businesses that donated to our baskets, and raise as much money as possible. They have estimated the loss of income (not including structures or inventory) to be 573 Million for small businesses in our area.
Even if you are not able to donate or buy a ticket personally, if you would, please share with your friends, and on social media, I would be incredibly grateful!!
