🌸🌼Spring is here—longer walks, sunny naps, and let’s be real… more vet visits? 🤔
Warmer weather brings new pet care needs, but being prepared can help save you time, money, and keep your pet spry through Spring.
Here’s how we can help:

🐾Did you know the doctors at DOMAH are the preferred veterinarians for many of your favorite local shelters, rescues, and non-profits? 🏥♥️
We believe even the smallest acts of kindness can create a ripple effect in our community, bringing positive change to the lives of pets in need. That’s why we’re always happy to help.

❄️Attention Birmingham Residents: There’s been a possible reindeer sighting at Double Oak Mountain Animal Hospital on Highway 280 in Birmingham. Sources say Santa Claus will be on his way to town in the coming weeks, and has already checked his list once. Per Dr. Vargas, ALL PETS and their people should try to be good, for goodness sake. Of course, we will keep you updated if and when updates are available. 🎅🎄
It’s time to pick a winner! 🏆✨In September, we sold raffle tickets for pets to win 1 YEAR WORTH OF FREE NAIL TRIMS with 100% of the proceeds being donated to Not One More Vet, Inc—a nonprofit organization that helps veterinary professionals cope with the stress and emotional fatigue that comes along with the work we love so much. 🫶🏻We are pleased to report that we raised over $200 in donations! Every bit counts, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who entered to win! However big or small your donation, you’ve helped us make a difference in the lives of the ones who dedicate their lives to helping your pets and we are so grateful for your support. Of course, we give all our congratulations to our winner, Meredith, whose sweet pup Maisy will be happy to have a nice pawdicure whenever she pleases for a whole year. ☺️Thanks everyone and we look forward to making this a new tradition at our practice!!
When you’ve got a Full House of vet assistants, every day feels like a pawsome adventure. 🐾🤍
Caring for your fur family with heart, humor, and a whole lotta love.
Fun day with some of our exotics!
Techs and doctors came together this afternoon for a brief training with some of supervisor Anthony’s exotic pets! Check out our stories for more photos of these cool creatures. 🐍🦎
We’ve got all the diagnostic tools your pet needs for gold-standard care… plus some extra love for good measure. 🥰
Dr. Miller got a chance to utilize our brand new ultrasound equipment this afternoon. Tools like this allow our vets to get the inside scoop on a ton of your pet’s bodily functions.
Just another way we’ve got your pet’s care covered tip to tail. 🫶🏻
Hey! Can y’all do us a favor and watch our doctor real quick? Thank you. 🙏🏻

We’re starting the day off right with some R&R for sweet Maple.
