We had a great day delivering 10 bags of Seminole Senior to Butterfly Dreams Farm Equine Therapy!

Butterfly Dreams Farm provides a safe and fun environment for students to receive therapy and riding instruction on horseback. Their certified therapists/ instructors collaborate with clients to create a warm, supportive environment where they can experience growth, learning, and healing. With unwavering dedication, they are committed to delivering quality equine therapy services, bringing smiles and lasting positivity to the lives of everyone they serve.

We delivered 9 bags of Seminole Equalizer to Oconee Therapeutic Riding today! We had the best time meeting all of their sweet horses and learning about their amazing program. OTR offers equine-assisted therapy that extends a warm invitation to riders of every age and ability. They harness the magic and healing power of horses, who move in sync with their riders’ needs, providing physical, emotional, and cognitive support.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated so we could provide feed to their program. We love our friends at OTR & we are always thankful for their business! 🐴🩵

We visited ReDux Equine Rescue Inc. today to deliver the 10 bags of Triple Crown Senior that were raised from our amazing customers! Redux’s mission is to help horses who need a fresh start. They rescue, evaluate, rehabilitate and re-educate all of their horses with an end goal of finding a great home for each horse. We learned so much about their great program & it was awesome to see today. We are so grateful for Paulette and all that she does for these horses! 🐴💙

Let's Talk Ulcers!

As many people are heading to their final shows of the year, we thought it was a great time to share information on preventing Gastric Ulcers in your equine partner. Gastric ulcers are sores that form on the stomach lining. They are common in horses, with the prevalence estimated between 50 and 90%. They can affect horses at any age but occur most frequently in performance horses.

🌟 UlcerGard is the only medication for horses proven safe and effective and approved by the FDA to prevent Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome. UlcerGard is specifically formulated to survive the acidic stomach environment, allowing proper absorption. UlcerGard blocks acid production at the proton pump, which allows the stomach contents to become less acidic and prevents formation of new ulcers and allows current ulcers to heal. To avoid gastric ulcers, deliver Ulcergard paste during anticipated moments of stress, such as traveling, competition, stall confinement, and strenuous exercise.

🌟 Outlast Gastric Supplement contains a unique blend of ingredients that are designed to support gastric balance, giving you and your horse the confidence to perform. Outlast contains a proprietary mineral complex with a unique honeycomb structure. The porous structure of this natural and bio-available source of calcium and magnesium increases its surface area and enhances its capacity to support proper gastric pH. Outlast has the ability to buffer the gastric acid in the stomach which produces a more favorable gastric environment and reduces the potential for gastric ulceration.

🌟 Hay in any form will increase saliva production as it is chewed, and saliva contains sodium bicarbonate, which also helps buffer stomach acid. The higher calcium and protein content in Alfalfa is what gives it better buffering abilities than grass hays. Long-stemmed forage will form a mat in the horse’s stomach that will prevent acid from sloshing into the upper portion of the horse’s stomach, where most ulcers occur. Our friends at Georgia Equine Rescue League were so grateful for their bags of Triple Crown Senior that will go on to help their horses in need! GERL helps horses that are starved, abused, and neglected. These horses are given a second chance at life. They all go on to great homes where they are given the best care! We love GERL & we are always so thankful for all that they do! 🐴💚

We have had a big request for Teff Grass Pellets, and we are so glad to be carrying them! Teff Grass Pellets are great for horses that are sensitive to sugar and starches, as well as those with Insulin Resistance, Cushings, and Tying-Up Syndrome. These are a great addition to your feeding program 🐴💚
