Meet Lainey who is looking for a foster or a forever home. She is a 1 yo female who will be training with us until Jun 7. She is learning basic obedience and is very smart and is working on gaining confidence around new people. She should go to a home that has experience with dogs and will have time to take her out in public. She is great with other dogs and as Ling as her humans control the greetings she is great with people. Probably shouldn't be in a home with little people since she tends to be on the nervous side. She is super sweet and we want to find a great home for her. If you aren't the right home but you know someone who may be, please let them know about her. We are proud to help rescues with difficult dogs but Tundra really pulled at our heartstrings. He was returned to For Belle's Sake - Rescue/Rehabilitation and was in really bad condition and had become very reactive, especially over food. We are so excited to say that Tundra was a very forgiving dog and once he knew he was safe and had food he became an amazing dog that loves to play with both people and other dogs. He even learned to sass back during training! LOL!! We are thrilled that he has been adopted and is headed to a safe home where he is going to get to run like crazy and be loved and taken care of. Thank you to everyone that helped support his training. Tundra's future is looking great!

Wally needs a home or a foster home! Talk about great obedience! This guy is super focused, loves pets and treats and is very smart! He does great with digs his size and bigger with a controlled introduction. He is a bit sketchy around smaller digs and will snap at them. He has been great with all adult humans and should go to an active home. We are getting questions about this new canine respiratory disease that is going around and what we are doing to be prepared for it. We already have the highest protections in place since covid. We use rescue to clean our kennels and it is rated to kill everything bleach does but is gentler on pet’s skin and noses and requires less contact time. We have a peroxide fogger that we use to disinfect the entire building if there is any inkling that something may be going around. We also installed a UV filter system on both of our HVAC units to help purify the air continuously. We have also been sharing information with our staff for early detection. We do have two kennels set up in our garage if we need to move anyone out of the facility due to owners not being able to pick them up. If we hear of any other protocols we will add them in as well. There has been one reported case in Bismarck and we are trying to be as prepared and vigilant as possible. We ask that if you feel your dog may be ill to follow the recommendation of isolating your dog for four weeks. Please, please, please do not board your dog or bring them in contact with others if you feel they may be sick or are acting “off” as there is no current treatment and it appears to be very contagious and last a long time. We will do our best to keep all pets safe and healthy while in our care and ask for your help to do the same! Perseus (aka Percy) is looking for his own king size bed to sleep in. This huge, boisterous 1 yo, 106 lb, neutered male who is up to date on his shots is an incredibly smart but strong young man! He appears to get along with other mid-size and larger dogs but is looking at some of our smaller dogs like they could be a snack so we will keep you posted. He did get into the chickens at his previous foster so if you have a farm be sure you only have small to large livestock. He loves people and has no body awareness so small children would likely be plowed over by this big guy. I strongly recommend an experienced dog owner adopt this guy because he is very confident and very strong. He responds very well to obedience to interrupt his bad behaviors such as pawing and jumping on people which we are working hard to get ahead of.
