Thank you Puppy Salon for doing a donated emergency grooming on Demetrius. He is SO emaciated and went straight to the vet from the groomers. Luckily he’s not in kidney failure, he is not FIV or FELV positive there was some suspicion of FIP but we are trying to rule that out. He has severe stomatitis, so I’m hoping that is what is going on. He is an older cat, but we don’t know how old. In two weeks if his blood work has normalized out, he’s going to have many if not all of his teeth pulled so for the time being he is on antibiotics for his respiratory infection, steroids for the teeth and gums and will be getting a bunch of TLC and wet food. He was such a good boy for the groomer and seems to love his sweater. It is because of your $5 Friday funds that we can care for severe cases like Demetrius. We thank you today and every day..
