Just two of my own dogs waiting for their T-R-E-A-T after they got their nails trimmed 💅🏻

Vada is 15 months & Voodoo is 2.5 and they have been getting their nails trimmed since they were itty bitty babies. Lucky for me, that means they are very desensitized to it so it only takes a few minutes to get them both done.

Remember, the average dog needs their nails trimmed every 4-8 weeks to maintain short quicks. Nail maintenance is linked to comfort & mobility so make sure to stay on top of your dogs nail maintenance. 🐾

Enrichment toys 🧸

What are they? They are toys that stimulate a dog's mind and body, and can help relieve stress, anxiety, and boredom.

Popular ones are puzzle toys, snuffle mats, treat dispensing toys, lick mats/forzen kongs, etc.

If you have a young dog, busy dog, anxious dog or a breed that requires a lot of stimulation please consider having some of these toys for your dog when you leave.

Ripp is only 2 years old AND he’s a miniature Australian Shepherd. He can be a little high energy but he’s been doing great during his first long stretch away from family.

It’s been helping that he has multiple toys to play with including enrichment toys!

Today he got a frozen Kong which should last him about 15+ minutes which is equivalent to an hour walk.

Ripp isn’t used to being home alone 🥹

So with hims Mom’s permission he got to come along with me for some errands! 🐾

He also gets to come pick up my Mom from the airport ✈️. What better way to be greeted after a flight than with his cute face? 😍

He loves car rides 🚗 and he loves adventures ❄️
