I spent the day transporting 6 feral cats to SNIP WV to get fixed! Please consider volunteering your time or making a small donation to our cause! There’s hundreds of cats in Allegany County on our list to get fixed this year. You can contact Meow Mission Coalition to sign up as a volunteer or to donate. If you reside in Allegany County and know of any feral cats that need fixed, please contact us. 🐾 TNR UPDATE 🐾

We are currently trapping in the south end of Cumberland and will not be trapping anywhere else until we finish this overwhelming (approximately 400 cats) colony. We are a very small group of volunteers with full-time jobs, and we are being stretched thin. We can't lose our sanity!😅

📌 The Need is Massive:
We have over 860 cats on our trapping list (not including our south end colony), submitted by 91 people. If you haven’t filled out the Google Doc yet, please do so! Link is in the comments.

💰 The Cost of TNR:
$100 to spay a female
$80 to neuter a male
This does not include extra care like antibiotic shots or flea treatment if it is needed. This also does not include the supplies we buy to care for them while we are housing them during recovery (this is about 3-5 days of housing and caring!).
