I always use all natural hypo allergenic shampoos and provide a stress free, kennel free environment. I work by appointment so your pup always has my undivided attention. keeping a clean space is super important with all the doggie flus so I clean and sanitize between every appointment. Being Fear Free certified is very important to me, I always take it slow and ensure your pup is relaxed as much as possible.

🫧Reopening🫧

Black mountain is now on a boil advisory! YAY!
That means I can have all the pups back to be pampered! 🧼🐩

As badly as I want to see everyone back next week, I had prior important plans that I have to keep.
So I will be closed October 21st to October 27th
Officially reopening October 28th.

I will go down the line of everyone that had a missed appointment first before I take any new bookings. I will try my hardest to get as many appointments in that I can. I know everyone is ready to get back into the routine!

Hi everyone, I hope you're safe and well!
My wolf pack is doing as well as we can during these times.

I wanted to give you a quick update:
Black Mountain is currently under a flush only restriction. The water isn't safe for me or your pups. I'll have to remain closed until restrictions are lifted, likely within three weeks.(possibly more or less)

I'm looking forward to seeing all those wagging tails and wet noses again. I'll reach out to all clients with a past or upcoming appointment once I have a confirmed reopening date.

I unfortunately rang in the new year with a nasty cold, having two weeks off has me missing work terribly!
This year I am not making any changes or price increases, everything is getting expensive as is.

With holidays coming and people traveling I want to make this post.

Respiratory diseases are nothing new in the dog world, but having one that we don’t have much information on changes things.

It can be deadly if not treated! Here are some symptoms to look out for:
-Excessive coughing
-Eye discharge
-Fever
-Difficulty breathing
-Lethargy

If you see any of these get to a vet asap!

✨Vaccinations are key!!✨
All animals should be kept up to date with vaccines regardless.
Just like the influenza virus not letting your pup go to high risk places like the park/ being around other dogs.

Now grooming is in question. For my clients I am and always have been disinfecting between every single dog. I work one on one, my personal pups will not have any contact with yours. Please let me know even if it’s 15 minutes prior to your appointment if your pup is unwell. I am taking this very seriously for your pups safety and mine.

Waiting for pickup playtime! 🎾This was Mozzies first groom! He was very unsure of something’s but the ball was a great way to end the appointment! I always try to make our time fear free and FUN!

This is Tilly when she first walked in, I couldn’t touch her I couldn’t really stand near her. She was so scared and her body language screamed get me out of here! This is Tilly after her groom 360 change after working super slow with her, building confidence, getting her adjusted to the equipment and me! This is after one groom this is why I love what I do, there is no bolting for the door. I get to take the time to work one on one and create a bond with every client.
