Update:: George had returned home safely!!!!!!!
One of our best boys, George Jones ran off around 11pm last night in the Emma section of West Asheville.
He knows his names, loves sweet baby talk, and is a huge fan of treats. Hes likely scared out of his mind. Despite his 100 pound self, he’s a totally squishy muffin.
If you find him, call us immediately at 828-450-3569. We will be offering a reward for his safe return. His daddy is broken without him right now.
Thank you!

Betsy has a boo boo! Please bear with us as she gets her new transmission! We will still be seeing appointments as normal (except we’re closed
Monday for Memorial Day) but we won’t have things like our scales and other things until she’s feeling better! (We were told around 10 days). Thanks!

A litter of eight red wolf pups was recently born in North Carolina -- and just in time for National Endangered Species Day, which is Friday.

Today the Paws team mourns a loss that we would like to share with everyone in the shock that we’re trying to process. Three years ago, we received a call from a man who was in route to FLA to adopt two kittens. He needed to schedule an appointment. Little did we know, this man and his wife would not only be one of our first clients but a member of our chosen family. Mr. Al Chubb (just call me Al) and his beautiful wife Jan even attended my (Heather)s vowel renewal last year. Our hearts are broken with his family, 2 and 4 legged, and we’d like to share our love and memory for him today. Thank you for loving us as much as we love you. We’ll take care of Margret and Winston forever until they cross over the rainbow bridge to greet you.

Binx’s Home for Black Cats. Street cat. Left to fend for herself. Both of her ears crunch down from extreme itching from the ear mites. Took forever to be able to trap. Rescued by Binx. Severe skin issues. Now diabetic. She won’t let us touch her in any capacity. And her foster mom sent us this. 🤣🤣🤣 Journey hasn’t given up so why should we?
