When she could not ride horse anymore She took the scooter for a ride and she showed me her keychain which said horses and said this is my horse now. Paula loved to be outside

Nice ride I found a new trail for us. And rode through a plantation I think my father had a crew plant. He was the Jackson county forestry & Parks Administrator. Loved his job. And I love the woods and out of doors too. Lots of memories 💞💕🐴🤠

Izzy & I went on a long trail ride I love my trails. We did see lots of fresh bear tracks, but thankfully no bear.

We saw lots of bear tracks on our ride tonite. We could even see the lines in the pads of their feet. So they were fresh tracks. 🐻

Deo was 29 or 30 when layed down and died this winter. He was such a good horse. In the fall he carried Roberta on many a trail ride. His legs were perfect. Never a problem. But he did get cushings and took pills for that. But that never made him lame. Just would grow too much winter hair. A friend, Duane, told her; ‘ you have a million dollar horse there, do you know that?
DEO was sired was Rebelde del Sur (by Amigo Fito). Rebelde died at 31 years Again no leg problems or lameness. Many stories circulate about bloodlines. And we can see certain crosses are good and some are not.
Amigo Fito was a refined stallion as was Rebelde.
I got AMANTE (BURLADOR) and. Rebelde del Sur from Rick Daniels. This was the cross he intended to breed and make his line. I wish I would have understood all that better but I was not a knowledgeable horsewoman when I began But in Deo. I see that the cross worked
After Sonia Wirths husband delivered Rebelde to me. She called and said ‘Bonnie I was misled about Rebelde. My husband tells me he looks and acts like a teenager and is not broken down. ‘. Stories are told.
I did learn. From Rick Daniels. & Sonja and really we can always learn something from all knowledgeable horse people I could list many I’ve learned from & appreciated it so much. Segundo was such a good teacher Okay I’m done. ( not really Ruben , you know us from the Midwest ). That’s a joke between me and Ruben about talking on and on 😂🤣

Me & Izzy had campfire tonite, she made S’Mores. I just had a roasted marshmallow🌟But nice thing was only 2 mosquitoes 🦟. This after riding🧲🎠🐴
