Welcome to Leo's Lodge Rescue and Boarding! It is a great passion of mine to help and connect animals to their forever homes.

We are in the process of building our new dog facility (coming Fall 2024!) to help more animals in need of rescue and rehoming.

The new Leo's Lodge building is progressing! Roofing work was pushed back but is re-scheduled for Monday/Tuesday. Windows/doors all set to go in. Electrician came out Monday to finalize the plan. Can't wait to go-go-go! 🤗

Leo and Oreo's early morning adventures. Started the day with a nice long walk. Once the temps rose along with the dew point, it was time to head in to the house to stay cool in the air-conditioning 🫠

What an awesome day! Leo's Lodge expansion is coming along well thanks to wonderful family, friends, and neighbors! 💗

Over the holiday weekend we built walls and today they were raised and roof trusses put in place. So thankful for all the help and support that so many have shown. It means so much to me to have this opportunity to help more animals and support the community!

Update: Wisdom Panel located Oreo's brother! After a little investigation Bubbles went through the JCAS shelter around the same time Oreo was there. We wouldn't have associated the two without the DNA results.

Drum roll please! Oreo's DNA results are finally in!

Exciting day for Leo's Lodge! The weather finally cooperated and we are off and running. Huge thank you to Floyd LaBar and team for the exceptional concrete work and awesome service provided. Building updates to follow! 🐾 🐾

Mr. Leo took a field trip to visit Dr. Jamie for his rabies and health vaccinations today. He enjoyed ordering a plain cheeseburger in the McDonald's drive thru afterwards 🍔 The nice woman at the window told him he was a very handsome boy!

OREO. Non-spayed Female 4-5 year old mix breed (DNA results coming soon!) ready for adoption. As with Leo, Oreo was surrendered to the shelter and has been waiting a long time for her forever home. Oreo is an energetic, smart girl who loves playing tug-of-war, taking long walks, playing in the creek, relaxing in the sun, butt scratches, and hanging out with her favorite humans.
