UPDATE: MILEY is her name and she went home! This cute little older girl was just brought in off of County Road O. She is not very happy to be here so she is hoping her family will see this post and call the shelter at 715-284-0251

It is Cheeto’s turn to find a home! He was brought to us by staff from the Jackson County Animal Shelter. This handsome guy was a stray, he had a hernia with intestines starting to protrude from it. We wanted to give him a chance, so we performed surgery and he has been healing for the last month. You wouldn’t even know anything was wrong with him now. He is very sweet and would like a family to spoil him for the rest of his years. He is neutered and was negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV.

We have more cats available for adoption. These two adorable babies are so excited to meet a new family. They are both boys. They have had first vaccines but will need to be neutered when old enough (around 6 months of age). The momma of these cuties will be available for adoption after she is spayed and healing. She is super sweet too!

We also have an adult male that is neutered and had previously been front declawed looking for a home.

This Saturday! The Jackson County Humane Society will have a table with crafts, baskets, and baked goods to raise money for shelter animals. Barb Milder and her famous stained glass items will be there too!

If you would like to donate baked goods you can drop them off by 5 pm on Friday at Northwood Vet Service or between 8 and 9 am at the Widow’s Fair . Thank you!!
