PSA - Going forward, I am going to be charging for nutrition consults. This decision is a hard one for me for numerous reasons. My priority is helping pets but I am also running a small business and it is incredibly frustrating to do all the work with people, see the improvements in their pets (from working with me) only to have them buy their food (usually the same food I sell) elsewhere not long after their consult.

But don't worry, I am going to keep most of the "extras" that box stores and online stores don't do!! I will continue to do the monthly drawings, contests, local meetups/drop offs, and of course the huge sales, clearance items etc!! I will continue to "hold your check" for you if you are in a rough spot, or allow you to pay a partial payment and wait till your next pay day for the balance etc. No box store or online store would ever do these things.

**Side note - 95% of all sales/clearance sales I run here are out of my own pocket, as are the monthly drawings, contests, deliveries, donations to local charities/events/groups etc. I mention this only to remind folks that while my pockets are certainly shallow compared to online and box stores I truly believe in going above and beyond for my customers to the best of my ability, and I do want to continue to show my customers they matter and find more creative and helpful ways to keep the shopping experience here a great one!

Residents living in 23 Dallas ZIP Codes will receive a FREE spay or neuter, 3-day pain combo, microchip, and rabies vaccine for their dog at any TCAP location.

Make an appointment with Texas Coalition for Animal Protection by calling 940-566-5551 or online here: https://texasforthem.org/services/specials/free-dallas-special/

These zip codes are where the majority of our intake comes from. We have enough puppies that can't find homes and no, there is no medical or behavioral reason for a dog to have a litter of puppies ever.

Fixing your pet isn't just good for helping us in our battle against pet overpopulation in Dallas. It's also MANDATORY for pet owners living in Dallas to have their dogs and cats spayed or neutered. Make your appointment NOW and keep your proof of appointment handy - if your pet is not fixed you could be subject to fines and citations. But if you have your appointment scheduled, we're cool!

Note: There is a longer wait list for large female dogs (their surgeries take the most time) so please expect a later appointment date.

If your zip code is not listed, you can still receive low-cost spay/neuter service through TCAP or Spay Neuter Network by appointment.
