How does spaying and neutering saves lives?
Kittens born outside have less than a 75% surviving a year. If you spay/neuter your own pets, their kittens/puppies don’t take the homes from kittens/puppies in shelters. It can also save your pets life. Cancers found in intact animals are rarely found in fixed pets. Some cancers, like testicular cancer is impossible.
Your community and neighborhood will be happier that you’re not adding to stray cat population.
As far as cats being “not your cat”, they’ve been let down by their people, it takes good people to step up and help.

Winter is coming sooner than you think.
Possum is here to tell you you need to make sure that your outdoor kitties have adequate shelter from the cold.
The Bingham County Humane Society in Blackfoot has shelters ready to go already filled with straw.
If you have outdoor kitties that you care for, who don't have adequate protection from the cold, come in and pick one up.
Each one is large enough for three to four kitties.
They are free but we always accept donations.

Our little hit by car Kitty now has a name.
Her name is Lilac!
She is such a sweet kitty and thanks to all of the generous donations that came in for her her vet bills will be covered.
She is getting stronger every day and even getting around a little bit.
Soon she will be strong enough for her next surgery.
Isn't she photogenic?
She is just the prettiest little thing.

The winner of the "Welcome Fall" auction donated the $270 winning bid and then donated the basket back. It was offered to the 2nd highest bidder who picked up the basket today and donated their bid of $250 which we will be getting to the Bingham County Humane Society this week. This made a total of $520 raised which is amazing. Thank you, thank you 🐱.
