Well we had a pretty solid week last week at the National Finals. SBS Mae competed in the Nursery Cattle and Sheep as well as the Intermediate Cattle and Sheep. We did good enough throughout the week that we made it back to the Final round in all 4 classes!
We won the Nursery Cattle round 1 and were sitting in first place for the average going into the final round for Nursery Cattle. We didn’t make any big hauls like we were hoping but we had a great week and I’m super excited for her future! She is going to be a dog that wins a lot it looks like, I just need to get her dialed in!

Today was the first day of the 2024 Mountain States Stockdog Association National Finals!
We got our freshly made banner hung up for being a sponsor and then SBS Mae had two runs today. We had a Nursery Sheep run that she did awesome in and we ended up finishing in 3:07! Then we ran in the Intermediate Cattle and we had a rough set! We had 1 heifer that was splitting off and running around while the other 2 just sat there and wouldn’t move. Mae worked great though and we made it to the sort, we just didn’t get the sort pulled off before we ran out of time.
Over all I’m extremely happy with how Mae did today!
Day one done, on to day two!

Flo x Ripper babies are 3 weeks old today! I’m pretty excited to see what these little tikes grow into the next few weeks! Both mom and dad are extremely strong dogs that I’ve never had back down from anything. Both are bonafide pair dogs as well, and have miles of using on them. They both have also been successful and won money trialing.
