Our Story
Abby&Co. was founded after Abby the dog came into Lauren Frizzell’s life in 2019 as a shy, timid, but very sweet little girl in need of a family. She was brought home and her parents got to watch her blossom and come out of her shell as the goofy, playful (and still sweetest) dog we know and love. Watching her transformation offered a new perspective on the difference that a change of environment and the opportunity of a stable home and family can have for a dog. Lauren decided that her calling was to rescue dogs from shelters that may be overcrowded or overwhelmed, giving dogs a second chance at a family and shelters some space and relief so they can continue to do their fantastic work of taking in dogs in need.
