** We offer emergency care during our normal business hours. We do ask that you contact us prior to coming in to make sure we are able to
accommodate your furry friend's needs and adjust our schedule accordingly to give
your friend the best care possible.
* For emergencies outside of our operating hours please contact the Virginia-Maryland
Regional College of Veterinary Medicine (VMRCVM) at 540-231-4621.

With the weather getting cooler, bugs are finding out homes more and more appealing. And unfortunately that includes fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. Thankfully, with the help of Nexgard and Heartgard, we can keep our canine friends safe from conditions like heartworm and Lyme disease. We recommend annual testing for these flea, tick, and mosquito-borne diseases, and if your pet is not on continuous prevention, we recommend testing more frequently. Do you know when the last time Fido had a heartworm test was? If not, there’s no time like the present! Call us at 540-552-3911 and schedule a test with us soon!
