Today we’re shining a little extra light on our beautiful black pups — because did you know black dogs are often overlooked in shelters and rescues?

These two gentle giants (and our sweet black foster pup, too!) are here to remind everyone that black dogs bring just as much love, loyalty, and joy as any other. ✨

Whether it’s big Great Dane cuddles, goofy foster zoomies, or soft nuzzles at the end of the day — life is brighter with a black dog by your side.

This sweet boy is already showing us how much heart he has. Davis is learning what it means to feel safe, supported, and loved through force-free fostering—where patience and kindness guide every step. 🐾

He’s curious, playful, and soaking up all the positive experiences that will help him grow into the confident pup he’s meant to be. 💫

✨ Meet Koda ✨
With that fluffy coat and foxy smile, we think he might just have a little Spitz in him 🐾💕 Whatever his mix, he’s all heart, smarts, and wagging tail energy!

Lately, he’s been working on some fun force-free tricks—like learning to dance on cue 🕺🐶. Watching him spin, twirl, and light up with confidence is exactly why we love positive training—it’s all about joy, trust, and teamwork. 💫

✨🐩 Angel Update 🐾✨

Angel showed up for CGC class this week ready to practice all of her cues and skills in the presence of other dogs 💪🐕 She worked hard on her focus, handling distractions, and showing off just how smart and sweet she is. 💜

…And of course, we accidentally failed to get photos or videos of class itself 🤦‍♀️ (trainer life is real 😂). So here’s a post-class shot of Angel still looking fabulous with her colorful paws and ready-for-anything attitude.

We’re so proud of the progress she’s making toward her Canine Good Citizen goals! 🌟🐾

Sweeeeeeeetttttt Sixteen to our sweet boy Rupert!!!!!

He was diagnosed with Kidney disease 3 years ago and still just vibing:) He still keeps the girls in line too.

LOVE this being a local option!!!!

Something that we don’t really advertise, but we are making is our own raw dog food. Dog food has beef liver,beef Heart,beef trimmings his packaged in half pound packs $2.50 a pack.

Shout to for being a total Rockstar at his 2nd visit to .

We all thoroughly enjoyed visiting with staff and residents!

Tucker has been training the last two years on everything. He learned things in puppyhood like how to not bite/chew inappropriate things and to share with his cat siblings. He transitioned beautifully to adulthood while his parents kept up with his field trips 3-5 times a week to prepare to travel the world with them (check out his instagram for a sneak peak of his adventures).

About 6 months ago it was decided to go down the Therapy Dog route and share him with them world. He is currently looking for part time gigs in multiple settings like schools and nursing homes (or any other settings that may be interested).
