Finally have a chance to post about the Doina Fischer clinic at Patewood. Doina was as fabulous as ever! She worked with a wide range of horses and ponies and a wide range of riders. She helped each of them discover and grow! Her knowledge is an amazing gift to those of us forunate to get to work with her! Thank you Doina. We are all eagerly awaiting your return.

Iniciu - the journey continues! Her first bareback cool down. As expected, she was an angel! Tina Wartman, thanks for all your marvelous work with our girl!

Iniciu...the journey continue! We are back! Been so busy this show season I haven't posted much but here is our 4 year old Lusitano mare starting her under saddle work. This is after only a handful of rides. So proud of her! She is so willing and remarkably balanced for a baby (just like her brother Bravo and her sister Fiera). She is a total joy to work with. My junior assistant, Tina Wartman doing a lovely job. ❤️

Iniciu - the journey continues! So our little girl is now coming four (its hard to believe) and she has started under saddle. Here is her first trot under saddle with Braelyn Meivogel up. Calm, confident and happy - just the way it should be. She is remarkably balanced for a baby - just like her brother Bravo. Note the very loose reins - it is important to remember that you never want to discourage the forward in a baby. She has started walking off the lunge line - learning steering but I will have to get a video of that. She has done some steering with long lines but put someone on their back and it all seems new to them LOL. Her butt just shot up another 2+" so she is still growing. Dragao babies (Dragao is her grandfather) have a tendency to develop very slowly which is just fine with me! What a wonderful journey this is :).

The journey of Iniciu continues! It's been slow going because of the Patewood show and clinic schedule but she is making great progress. Today was her first day being lunged from the bit and being introduced to side reins. As always, she was an angel. Definitely a spunky girl but so very good! Can't wait to long-line her next!!!
