Adoptable Bird of the Week!

Meet Suzie! She is one of the sweetest birds we have. She’s a “honker” not a screamer, loves eating, destroying toys and hanging out with her Man.. She prefers men over women but does enjoy both! She’s will say “hello” like Kazoo from the tv show The Flintstones, loves to laugh, she will hang out all day on a stand.

Her diet consists of fresh veggies aka chop, Roudybush pellets, freeze dried fruits/veggies, nuts and other treats.

Enrichment doesn’t need to be complicated! It can be as simple as slicing the banana with the peel on instead of offering pieces of peeled banana.

Comayo’s first day of targeting…he’s a natural! He is blind in his left eye so I make sure to approach where he can see.

One of our weekly volunteers reading to the smaller birds. I can say the cockatiels really enjoyed it!

Still feeling under the weather but spent some time getting to know Arrow the Goffin. 💜
