Patient presenting with wounds sustained via porcupine quills.
Monitored well under isoflorane gas. Was assured by our surgical tech here that the 3 separate times was necessary to remove all of them despite the warning that rabbits typically don't handle anesthesia all that well. (He's a magical Easter bunny rabbit so, apparently that makes a difference).
Recovered unremarkably post op. All quills removed. No eggs found.
Prescribed antibiotics, steroids, and pain meds orally as needed.
Recheck on Easter, Owner to call if any complications arise. - "Dr. A"
