This is the sweet boy found on N Harrison last Thursday. He spent one full day at the shelter, ate his dinner Thursday and played with Gatlin Friday. He is now fighting for his life and needs a little help to get through this! Please donate any amount you can to help him. Parvo sucks! Dumping these babies sucks! He is just a baby and deserves all the good things puppies should have!

Todd's condition is critical, and we need all the puppy prayers we can get! Although he has stopped vomiting and experiencing diarrhea, he remains lethargic and has not eaten anything yet. The medical staff is still waiting for more bloodwork results and has inserted a nasogastric tube to control his vomiting and nausea.

It is imperative that Todd eats something soon to help him regain his strength and improve his condition. The medical team is doing everything in its power to provide him with the necessary nutrients through the nasogastric tube. The next few hours are crucial for Todd's recovery, and any delay in treatment could have dire consequences. Thank you to those who have stepped up and donated, sent wishlist items, or shared on social media. This poor boy is fighting with everything he's got. We will post more updates soon on his progress.

If you can please donate towards his mounting Vet costs, follow this link: https://cuddly.com/donate/4919715/todd?fbclid=IwAR1HnQGf51tf_sVGcFT6xY_G_jnlv8FJvBLF7rEojhYk3oYi5YvZnpCeimc?utm_source=link&utm_medium=share&utm_campaign=campaign

No amount is too big or small - it all adds up and is very much appreciated!

UPDATE ON THE TNR PROGRAM.

I started trapping at the end of October, I trap on days the weather permits but I have successfully trapped 40 cats so far! 27 of those were female.

On average a cat can have 2-3 litters per year, with an average of 4 kittens per litter. That’s up to over 300 kittens that could’ve been born just from those 27 females!

This program is fully donated based and I cannot continue doing this without donations!
I continue to get calls about the community cat issue but I need the funds to keep trapping.
There are donation cans located at ACE Hardware, Spencer’s, City Hall and at the Library. I would like to get 100 cats done by the end of summer.

Every shelter across our State is struggling. Rescues are struggling. No matter how many animals are spayed or neutered, the overpopulation seems to grow.
Shelter animals, mixes, mutts…. are just as amazing as any other dog, and they deserve a loving home.

❤️Share a picture of a dog/s or cat you adopted from a shelter or rescue and let’s celebrate you-for adopting a dog that was at risk, a dog no one wanted but is still a perfect dog because it was given a chance!
Here’s mine: Callie was dumped on a porch at an elderly couples home at 3-4 weeks old. They saw her when going to check mail. No others in sight. I was asked if I had a nursing mom but I didn’t so I took her home to bottle feed her. She turns 3 this month. Gatlin was found on a rural road at 5 weeks old. She spent 2 nights at the shelter before I brought her home and she’s nearly 8 months old now. Both Oklahoma street specials/mutts. Unwanted but now loved forever!

This sweet boy broke with parvo. Please donate to the rescue!

🆘DONATIONS NEEDED!!🆘 Poor Todd was abandoned in the country and a local shelter took him in, but he started throwing up, was very lethargic and the shelter staff knew he wouldn't survive there. So they reached out to our rescue for assistance, and one of our amazing volunteers rushed him to the Vet ER. Sadly, he's been diagnosed with parvo virus and roundworms. His tiny, malnourished body needs all the help it can get so they're starting IV fluids, medicine and we're hoping we've caught it early.

Our little rescue has been struggling financially, but couldn't turn a blind eye to this little guy. Please consider donating towards his mounting Veterinary bills or sending an item from his wish list. And thank you for your continued support of our mission to help animals in rural shelters!
