This sweet boy is Theo and he needs a foster home! He is not at my shelter but is local and has been in a shelter since April of 2024! He is a sweet boy, he got a much needed groom today too so he looks a little funny right now but he has a long, thick and fluffy coat. A local rescue desperately needs a foster to step up for this boy. Rescue supplies everything you need. This boy just needs you!

Two seniors looking for a comfy bed and home in their senior years! Charlie( cattle dog mix) is 10 years old in April. She is fully vetted and 35lbs. Very sweet, still spry! Riley is approx 10 as well. Believe he is a staffordshire bull terrier. He is just a precious old man. He’s only 25lbs. They have been together for at least 8 years so ideally we would like them adopted together as Riley follows Charlie everywhere.

Remember Arlos? He was adopted and his family loves him but Arlos doesn’t like the pigs. He has to stay leashed outside so he doesn’t try bite their ears and he can also get over a 4ft fence. He never jumped the 6ft shelter fence. If anyone would like to meet the sweetest boy, please reach out and I will put you in contact with the owner, they would love to find him a new home so he can enjoy playing with other dogs without being leashed.

Emmy… the story of an unclaimed stray dog that found herself in the shelter then adopted and today was officially her first day on the job as a therapy dog! Shelter dogs have so much potential! She is going to visit the Police Department next week to boost morale and if allowed, we plan to bring her to the schools to teach on dog safety and let the kids love on her.

We have a tree set up at Ace Hardware. Their photos are displayed with a bit of info on the back of their photos. Wish list items are anything from the pet aisle. Blanchard Ace Hardware All animals currently on the tree are fully vetted( DHPP, rabies, altered) and adoption ready! We will add new dogs as they come in( 2 new ones today) that I will add and the status of ready or not
