Another baby out there making us proud!

This is Amsterdam P, shown as Absolute Dream, at WEC Ohio winning the hack in a class of 20 and champion of the future hunters. This 5 year old is going to be so cool!

He is a full brother to our stallion Avignon P. (Apiro/Argentinus x Dorchester/Madison/Matcho AA)

Love getting updates on Milo’s babies!

3-year-old Aspen left for her new home 7 weeks ago after having been sat on one time. Received a video update today with her working under saddle like a superstar!

So excited to watch her continue to mature and so thankful for the connection and her great start by KBT Equine!

Another great match for one of Milo’s kids! Second time under rider the first day at her new home. So proud of Aspen P and so thankful for such great new owners for this girl. Wouldn’t have been possible without the fantastic start and connection by everyone at KBT Equine! 😍

Took the boy down to learn how to collect like a good stallion should! He was acting like a tough guy for his neighbor.

Many thanks to Kathy and Jos at Equine Reproduction for all your help, especially during this busy time of year!

Aspen. You’re supposed to eat the hay out of the trough, not put your body in the trough!

When the four year old walk/trots with her new girl less than 24 hours after arriving at her new home! 😍

Did I mention she sat all winter after only 90 days with the trainer last summer??

Many thanks to Liza Messersmith for making this connection, to Equine Express,NA INC for getting her to her new home safely, and to KBT Equine for putting such a great start on our girl!

Today our last client horse left to go live with his momma on the east coast. This guy was one of the first horses that came into the barn when I first moved back to Oklahoma, almost exactly 7 years ago, so it’s fitting that he’s the last to leave. Safe travels Major and thank you Bobbi for trusting us with your handsome man!

It’s bittersweet as one chapter ends, but we’re excited for the next one to begin. Looking forward to having the time to focus on Milo and loving on his babies!

After a year of hard work, 2 EPM treatments, battling gastric and hind gut ulcers, stepping on a nail, and gaining ~300 lbs, this girl maybe wasn’t as prepared as I would have liked but we were determined to go to the Retired Racehorse Project and enjoy ourselves anyway!

Unfortunately after lots of consideration, we’ve decided to scratch. The timing just isn’t right personally. However the Makeover pushed me to make Toccetta a priority instead of letting her sit on the back burner (unlike the other 4 standing out in their paddocks…) and I’m so impressed with how she rose to the challenge especially after starting at such a disadvantage. I look forward to continuing her training and showing in TIP classes next year!

(Yes, my 😬 face is hilarious in the rearing photo.)
