Welcome to KarobrokDogs - formally Rainbow Showdogs LLC. Our services will include training and competing in different venues.

We are combining 40 plus years as Professional Handler and an AKC Hunt Test judge, the retreiving side of Sporting dogs.

Our show team attended dog shows in Alexandria, LA this weekend - every dog brought home wins! Blake (Saluki) Best of Breed, Select, 2 GCh pts, Owner/Handler Group 4, and his first pass at his temperament test to earn his ATT title. Brooke and Blake also got her 5th class win to be invited to the 2025 AKC National Championship JR Showmanship competition. Kiro (Sibe) 3 Selects and 7 GCh pts. Koko (Sibe) Winners for 5 CH pts and two major reserves. Thor (Rhod) 2 Winners and 1 Reserve and his first championship point.
Entires for the next dog shows are being completed now and the spring schedule is looking great - send us a message if interested in what shows the team is attending.

Happy Belated New Year! Robert and I have been busy the past 6 weeks working with dogs at home, Brooke was able to sneak off and attend the first dog shows of the year bringing home college scholarship money and we have brought 4 beautiful Saluki puppies into this world. Now that the holidays are over and the puppies are proving to be strong and healthy we have created our spring schedule of dog shows and hunt tests. Just a girl and her dog - the girl is Brooke Adams - the dog - his full name is GCH CH Al Sayad Oh Bringing Back The Sunshine JC “Blake” a our pick puppy out of his dam’s first litter. I finished Blake from the Bred By Exhibitor class and then he went home to mature. As 2024 rolled around, Brooke was having to decide which of our personal dogs to use for junior showmanship. So - we started the adventure - year end stats have come out and they ended up:
#1 Saluki Junior
#9 Hound Junior
#15 Grand champion points earned for Salukis
#34 breed points for Salukis
#36 all breed points for Salukis

Brooke was also ranked in other breeds for juniors
#5 Irish Wolfhound Junior
#14 Pointer Junior
#3 Wirehaired Pointing Griffon junior

Life got in the way to go to the National Championship this year and then she ended up one win shy for Westminster. She turns 18 in May, currently needs one more class win for The National Championship and 4 more Best Juniors for Westminster. So proud of what she has accomplished and can’t wait to see where she goes. Her first Bred By Saluki puppy is growing, and it will be fun to watch them together.

When it’s extremely cold outside, drills can be done inside. Piggee is now fetching regular bumpers. She loves the short drills Robert puts her through - always ending after on a positive.

Our dogs need mental and physical stimulation. Yesterday Fluffy went with me to go get the trash can from the road and she was quite amused and staying in front of the mower on the way back. This activity had her moving at a good pace and having to acutely watch her surroundings. It’s good to think outside the normal box of activities for your dog.

Training starts when we feel your pup is ready for the next level. We had the chance to use a heated pool so we could safely make swimming a pleasurable experience. Piggee took to it like sizzling bacon!

Kari’s grandpa use to have hunting Brittany’s and Pointers and look at her now still owning Pointers. Melody is CH Penpoint Do You Believe in Magic? Kari’s first bred by Pointer, she is 11 years old and our most elder dog.

Say hello to our newest family member. She is a Curly Coated Retreiver that we plan on competing out in the field and in the dog show ring. She’s adapting quite well to our home and we can’t wait to see her blossom.

The shows in Chickasha was our closing AKC dog shows for 2024 and we ended with a bang! Two new champions, multiple Breed wins - lots of Championship and Grand Championship point. Enjoy this collage of our winners.

Today we have another new champion to our crew, this one is a little bit sweeter as she’s ours. Most don’t know Kari has been involved with Pointers for almost 20 years, but have only had two litters. BISS multiple group winning and placing GCHS Penpoint-Honor Abracadabra AOM (2), AOE (3) select dog at the APC National - better known as Merlyn was Kari’s heart dog. He was bred twice, once Kari was co-breeder on. Merlot who is now our newest Champion is his Great-Great Grand daughter who produced Kari’s second litter. Merlot first litter has produced an AKC champion (and a group winner at 12 months old), a Canadian champion and two lovely girls who are making their move on their championships - heck, one even won a NOHS Sporting group! I shared Lee Ann’s post here as she got all the names right and all the good information. Thank you Lee Ann for allowing us to be part of the Penpoint family.

Congratulations to the newest champion on our string - 1 yr old Filmmakers I’m the problem it’s me “Harley”. Harley is owned by Valerie and Jeremie Bays. Brooke Adams was her handler today and it was great watching these 2 young ladies shine. Now we start Harley’s Grand Championship quest.
