Brooke had fun with past weekend at the Oklahoma Summer Classic earning performance titles on Kira (Saluki) and Wednesday (Cardigan Welsh Corgi). Both girls earned their Canine Good Citizen and Novice Trick Dog titles. Pretty and Smart!

This past weekend our show crew was at the Oklahoma Summer Classic Dog Show - the states largest AKC event.
By the numbers the dogs earned:
1 Grand Champion Silver Level title
1 Grand Champion Title
2 Championship Titles
22 Grand Championship Points
41 Championship Points
Reserve wins and Placements over competition in the classes
Thank you to Brooke and Krissy for all your help this weekend. We are off this weekend to enjoy the July 4th holiday.

Piggee is our 8 month old Curly Coated Retriever. Robert has been introducing her to water retrieves. She’s learning to swim and you can see she is having a blast doing her job - retrieving the bumper.

Attending our breeds National Specialties is important to us. We may not be able to attend every year but we attend what we can. Kari and Brooke just got home from the 2025 Saluki National. They got to show many beautiful dogs including our own and got to celebrate their friends wins.

This past weekend we pulled off a triple hitter! Robert and Axl competed in hunt tests, Kari attended the Cardigan Welsh Corgi National and Brooke graduated high school! Axl did get a qualifying score, Eden made the cut in Best of Breed, which was like getting a win for us, such deep quality shows up for Nationals. I think we put over 2000 miles in the one weekend but we attended all events!

Our show crew has been on the road the past two weeks. They went to Grand Islandand, NE and Abilene, TX. The dogs won grand championship and championship points, so both weekends were successful Brooke just turned 18 and won her last Best Junior handler awards both weekends. Brooke made the qualifications for two invitational events so she is eligible to compete in December at the AKC Nationals and in February at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

This past weekend - Robert judged at the Sierra Nevada Retriever Club Hunt Test. He judged a Master and Senior test with his co-judge Mark. I posted photos from the test for many of the working dogs on our personal pages but wanted to share some of Robert during judging hee. I love getting to love his sport through a judges eye, it’s teaching me about time work and dedication it takes to turn a dog into a master hunter.

Our show string attended shows this weekend in Tulsa, OK and had some great wins - results are posted with the dog photos. This coming weekend Robert is judging a Master Hunt Test in Fallon, Nevada.

Our show crew was busy this past weekend in Fayetteville, Arkansas - the dogs wins are listed with their photos. Since it was Easter weekend we had some funny bunnies for the photos.
