Mine did the same thing when I had developed vertigo. I fell on the floor and could not get up because of the vertigo. My five dogs ( two of these dogs were a 2 and 4 year old intact boys... as well as rescues.. and they were devoted to me already! They formed a circle around me. They just kept licking my hair and I'm certain I had a cup of saliva on my head...gross. Problem was...they would not allow anyone into the house or near me ! To shorten my story I'll say that finally we were able to solve the problem
Their loyalty in this breed is so intense that they would die saving my life.

I have to blow Ashlee's horn again. She has done an amazing job with both of her pups! In her words I am printing her accomplments so far. I also wanted to add my words about these pups. I have worked and bred Corsos for 8 years now. I have GREAT PRIDE in my accomplishments. I breed to improve the quality of the breed. I do not breed for money. I Keep my price low so that anyone who loves the breed can own the best. Any breeder,who does everything right including healthcare..socialization really does not make much money. My ultimate goal is that each pup finds a loving home. Everyone appears to have provided the best of homes for all of them. Many of my adopters still stay in touch with me...and that makes me so happy. I am so thankful that Ashlee has proven this...by showing her two pups.....my hard work and efforts are really worth my blood sweat and tears. She ,as well, has validated my efforts of all the work I've done. She is priceless for me! Thank you Ashlee for all you have done for you and me. 💕

We started showing only 2 months ago. June 6th 2024 was our first ever dog show. In the past 2 months Wilma got 10 first place class wins and completed her POA award, 2 winners bitch, 3 reserve winners, 2 Best of breed-owner handled, 2 Best of opposite. 1 Best puppy, 2 2nd place class wins. Betty has gotten 2 1st place class wins, and 10 2nd place class wins. Big papa got 2 2nd place class wins, and 2 reserve winners. And we will be adding more tomorrow hopefully!

I again want to thank everyone who sent me wishes to get well soon. Everyone keeps asking what happened. I'll fill you in. ❤️❤️‍🩹❤️

MY broken hip has everything to do from injuries from my car accident. My broken neck never healed (a lady ran red light). This has left me with a condition called CERVAGENIC VERTIGO/ DIZZINESS. MY BALANCE SUDDENLY FAILED OUTSIDE, AND I DID NOT KNOW WHAT DIRECTION I WAS GOING!!! I did not trip and fall at all...but instead started spinning and trying to grab onto something. Well...there was nothing to grab and I fell hard on our brick driveway. The pain was of a caliber I've never felt ... even child birth! Joe got me upstairs as I'm screaming all the way. I said that we needed an ambulance because it was too painful to have him carry me back down! They did surgery at 2 in the morning...it was a bad break. The surgery was very successful, however, I'm shuffling painfully around on a walker and can't walk yet. I will heal up though...Im just a little driven in that regard 😁😉! It is the CERVIGINETIC VERTIGO THAT HAS ME MOST AFRAID!

I just wanted to let people know, who bought a puppy from my last litter, all of you have, presumably by me, show quality pups 😁! Most of my clients want a pet..and I don't expect buyers to show them. I do want you to know, however, that the quality of that pup at the end of your leash is amazing...valuable and you probably have a showdog 😁! Of course...I have not seen the pups for awhile..so some of these pups may developed small faults which have appeared over time. I am going off their faultless appearance as pups. I kept saying that this litter was the best I had ever bred. I have had show quality pups in the past, whose owners I am still friends with....but I could not say every pup in that litter was show quality. This litter I kept trying to see which had faults and I just couldn't! My dogs all are bred from the Tony Scandy kennel...Google him ,he is referred as the best in the nation...and Casio Kennel who I consider as one of the best as well. Generally speaking about my last litter..they are ROCK STARS!!!

There is one thing I want both Ashlee and others to know after reading this. This puppy "Wilma" took the title of "RESERVE CHAMPION"! It is quite an accomplishment! As I've told you...I showed Bulldogs for 12 years. Never in that time did I see a pup win against the adults ever! Each winner of each class which.. includes puppy and adults...will have to compete now for winner. Judges are totally reluctant to ever place a puppy over an adult while deciding a winner.. It is a huge compliment and recognition of this pup that a judge took the risk...he could lose people showing under him again! It could affect other shows from hiring him if he can't pull in exhibitors and, of course, their money! I highly admire this judge for his honesty and the risk he took to place this pup. Follow this judge Ashlee...he has proven his honesty and dedication to our breed by his fair an honest opinion.

My next breeding will be awesome and also probably all showdogs too! The following are going to be their parents. First is my stud VLAD. I HAVE HIS BABY PHOTO AND HIS 8 MONTH OLD PHOTO...HE IS ONE BIG BOY!!! THE DAM IS PICTURED ABOVE IN THE PHOTOS OF MY LAST LITTER. BOTH OF THESE DOGS ARE MAGNIFICENT. THE SIRE I RECEIVED FROM THE KENNEL OF TONY SCANDY. MY DAM IS FROM THE CASIO KENNELS. THESE ARE TWO OF THE BEST BREEDERS IN THE MIDWEST.

I am so excited for ASHLEE JO!! I POSTED A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO HOW HER PUP PLACED FIRST PLACE IN 3 OF THE 4 SHOWS SHE ENTERED! WELL... HER PLACEMENT IN THE SHOW THIS WEEKEND WAS AS FOLLOWS...."WILMA...FIRST PLACE AND " BETTY WAS SECOND PLACE!" BOTH OF THESE PUPS ARE FROM MY LAST LITTER FROM CY AND OUIJA. ASHLEE LEFT WITH TWO OF MY FEMALES. BETTY WAS A RUNT AND I NEVER THOUGHT SHE PLACE IN SHOWS. I DID NOTICE THAT SHE WAS SMALL BUT HAD PERFECT CONFIRMATION. HER SIZE, HOWEVER, DID START CATCHING UP SOMEWHAT TO HER SISTER . I JUST WANTED ASHLEE TO BE ABLE TO TAKE BOTH...AND SHE DID. I KNEW THIS LITTER WAS THE BEST I HAD EVER BRED! I WAS RIGHT! EACH PUP WAS NEAR PERFECT AND I COULD NOT FIND A FAULT WITH ANY OF THEM! THIS LITTER I WAS UNABLE TO FIND FAULTS! ILL FIND PHOTOS OF THEIR MOM/DAD AND THEIR PUPPY PHOTOS. IT WILL BE IN THE NEXT POST. (I someday will gather photos of this litter for you to see. EVERYONE OF THEM ARE SHOWDOGS...I AM SO CERTAIN! MOST OF MY PUPS ARE BOUGHT FOR PETS AND FAMILY PROTECTION AND I CERTAINLY KNOW THAT NOT EVERYONE WHO BUYS A PUP FROM ME IS GOING TO SHOW IT. THEY HAVE ,HOWEVER, THE BEST LOOKING PETS AROUND!😁

This is why children should never be allowed to go eye to eye with ANY dog. This is a dog's body language saying...Im challenging you to a fight! The dog being stared will often react instinctively by biting, in an effort to protect himself from the challenging other animal.

This video almost made me cry 😢. This pup is not feeling guilty or ashamed! Dogs do not have human emotions like humans. He is showing great fear of that owner! That weird grin the dog is displaying is what young animals ( foals do it too) do when they fear for their lives. That strange grimace on the pups face is referred to as a "submissive grin"....this is what they do when they fear for their lives. It is their message to who they fear... saying "please don't hurt me and that you are the alpha and I'm not challenging you"😥( sadly...I do think this pup has been beaten and this is proven by the fear he displays in the photo...so sad.

This is what it is like at my house, when you just want to lay on the couch and watch a movie. The girl in the photos is Anna, who often helps me with my dogs. Both of my dogs are actually still pups! They are both HUGE!

I am so proud of Ashey Jo...Im over the moon for her. She adopted two pups from my last litter. She entered her pup "WILMA" IN A PUPPY CATEGORY at a dog show. There were 4 shows over the weekend ( it is hard to find an AKC club that does this many shows at one event.) Wilma took first place in three of the four shows! Ashley has done an amazing job with these pups! I am as proud as a peacock (I'm gramma you know) over her amazing accomplishments!

This is just a FYI I thought you might find interesting. Did any of you know the word "Dog" is a reference to the male only and " bitch" is a reference to a female only and as a group they are a canines? I don't know how we started referencing canines as "dogs" instead of canines. An example would be referencing all cattle as "BULLS" and all horses as "STALLIONS ". This is something I remembered when I got weird looks from friends when I was talking about showing dogs. I might say "I have to get my pups into "puppy dog classes" or "puppy bitch classes" 😂😂

This reel has always disturbed me. My heart went out to this young Pitty pup ☹️. It shows how misunderstood dogs are, by the lack of understanding of a dog's behavior. The reality is that dogs do not feel guilt...or embarrassment or many emotions that humans feel. That expression on the pup's face is called a "submissive grin". It is displayed by a dog in an effort to plead with his alpha not to hurt him. If people only understood!

I just got these photos last night. My intent was to get individual photos of each pup...they however, would not cooperate, lol. They had just eaten their puppy Chow mash I made and then fell into a puppy Chow coma pile, lol! The color of the pups are so deceiving when I do the photography! With the exception of two pups, the rest are blues. Most are the dark pewter blue...which is highly sought after. The two other pups are a mystery color. The photo makes them look like a tan formentino, however, they are still a brown. Thar could change however. I'm going to post two photos of Corsos that closely match the color of these two...for now anyway. ( Remember...the adult dogs I have shown are just examples of the color I speak of...these are not my dogs.)

I love watching the interactions between dogs, and often just peculiar to their own breed. I laughed so hard as I looked out in my back yard to check on my dogs. I have two large fenced in areas, side by side, for the dogs. MY Corsos were sitting in row, as if watching a movie. Wayne's Malinois was racing, non stop and at abreak neck speed, doing figure eights! Well, my dogs did not bark or get excited watching him, and I know they were thinking to themselves "WTH is wrong with that crazy Maligator?!!!". They were just in awe of him...Lol!
