We are cross posting for help! This is Joey he was originally found as a stray in late 2021 and with Homeward Bound in Peebles Ohio. The rescue had raised money for him because he was heartworm positive he never received his heartworm treatment and ended up with a breeder. Thankfully DASH Animal Rescue took him on 3/23 and he is now well enough to receive treatment. Since he was never treated properly back in 2021 his heartworm disease is very serious. He’s looking for a foster that can keep him calm. He needs to be walked to potty and no steps. UPDATE: We have received many queries about dog spay/neuter and anticipate getting responses to all by tonight. If you are interested in dog spay/neuter & have not emailed us, we are sorry but we know that we cannot accommodate your dog for this clinic. We have many spaces open for cats.

PAWS will be hosting the Rascal Unit, a mobile vet clinic, to perform spay/neuters for cats & dogs on Saturday, April 22 at our facility in Wilmington, Ohio. Rascal Unit is a mobile high volume spay/neuter clinic that travels through Ohio. Please email [email protected] to receive information & to register. Registration and payment must be made in advance as spots are limited and on a first come basis. Payments are non-refundable. Prices are below & include the surgery, rabies vaccines and hosting fee. If your pet is current on a rabies vaccine, send a copy of the rabies certificate with your registration & the cost will be reduced by $10. Cat Spay $80 Cat Neuter $70 Dog Spay: Up to 40 pounds $100, 40-80 pounds $115, Dog Neuter: Up to 40 pounds $90, 40-80 pounds $105. The clinic also offers other vaccines & tests in conjunction with the spay/neuter. Thank you for considering spaying/neutering your pet.

Abby is up for adoption!

Abby is a 2 year old lab mix who is full of energy . She loves going for long walks and playing fetch. She loves cats! She can be dog selective. She Seems to like smaller dogs. 💫Meet Eddie. Eddie is an absolute sweetheart that is waiting for his forever home. He was found as an unclaimed stray. He just wants to lay his head in your lap while he gets ear scratches. Eddie LOVES squeaky toys and to go for walks!

💫He knows sit and lay down! He does have some food aggression that needs to be worked on. Because of this he needs to be in a home with no other dogs or children under 16. He is easy to walk, and is housebroken.
