Whiskers While You Work is looking to add a pet lover to our team to walk dogs and take care of pets in our customer’s homes.
This position is part time and has the opportunity to grow as we gain new customers to assign to the sitter. Because of the driving involved and the fact that there are times only one or two visits may be assigned at a given time, we are looking to hire a candidate local to our service areas.
The right candidate will pass a background check, be physically able to safely walk dogs of all sizes for up to 30 minutes at a time, and have the right personality to make our customers know that their pet is in the best possible care. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are a must.
Flexible scheduling, weekends are a must.

We are currently looking for a responsible, reliable and energetic pet lover to join our team! This position includes walking our daily midday (generally between about 10am-3pm, but also some earlier later hours at times) Monday- Friday dog customers in Bloomfield and West Hartford, providing pet transport to and from daycare, and caring for some kitty customers while their people are on vacation.
This position is part time to start, and has the ability to grow for the right pet sitter who takes on new customers.
Must live local to the towns we service (it’s the only way to make it work with drive times involved), have a clean background check, valid driver’s license and your own reliable independent transportation.
This is a perfect position for someone who wants to work independently and likes to be up and moving during their work day.
