This is why your dog needs to sniff on walks! So much information in one place! They smell all this and more, even without snow.

A fun visual representation of what your dog sees (smells) every day. Look at how noisy it is and how many tracks there are intertwining. The different animals, people, and dogs movement in just one area. The snow lets us humans see the history of this area and what animals and people have passed through. A dog will smell this every day and know who and what animals have passed through. Smellavision!!!!

Dogs are incredible.

Imagine tracking and detection dogs needing to filter out all this noise and track a single scent down. Amazing!

Introducing Margot! At just 1.5 years old, this sweet pit bull is participating in our reactivity program to help her thrive. Margot is cautious around new people, particularly in her home environment, and is working on building her confidence. Through our program, she is learning to feel more at ease with strangers and is making great progress in enjoying calm, relaxed walks. Once she gets to know you, Margot shows her true colors as the most loving and affectionate companion!

Happy 2025! We hope everyone had a fun and safe New Year’s Eve!
We spent a nice evening eating raclette with our friends and were in bed asleep by 10pm 😂

Our dogs have no choice who they live with.

It’s the luck of the draw whether they find themselves with someone who understands that they are a dog, and that they need to do (& should be allowed to do) dog stuff. Someone who understands their dog is doing their best with the cards they’ve been dealt.

Or with someone who wants their dog to suppress behaviour & obey ‘commands’.

When a dog has a human who has empathy they automatically become a ‘good’ dog.

This holiday season, Westley is shining bright in the spotlight! As an almost one-year-old Mountain Cur mix, he is on a journey of building confidence. Though he feels wary of new people, dogs, and environments, he is working on creating positive associations with the world around him. Once Westley knows you, he reveals himself as the most loving snuggle bug and sweetheart! I'm so proud of Westley's journey so far and can't wait to continue watching him blossom!

Hello everyone, meet Ollie! He has shown remarkable improvement in his walking skills, learning to manage his reactions to other dogs and to remain calm around moving vehicles. At home, he has been actively working on developing essential life skills, such as greeting people calmly and communicating in a polite manner. It’s wonderful to see his progress and how he's becoming the best version of himself!
