Happy tails to Samara! She was adopted today after 1.5 years in rescue! She completed her foster to adopt and they are overjoyed to welcome her into their family. She loves her new dad and human and fur siblings and is living the good life. ❤️She did a trial foster starting a few weeks ago and ended it with a canvas photo of her and her new sibling on the wall. Thanks for adopting Joseph! Huge thank you to Emily for fostering and training this sweet girl. 🐶

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

We are grateful to all of our adopters and supporters this year.

We have a special dog Samara that has been struggling to find her forever home and would love your help. Samara is hoping that she will spend Christmas in her forever home. She has  a goofy personality and enjoys giving kisses. She is good with people, dogs, kids (but would do best with older kids to her energy). She would do best in a home with no cats.

Hi friends, is anyone able to foster a nice but nervous corgi or two until they are ready for adoption? We have a mother and daughter Corgi available through Mannered Mutts Rescue. They are dog friendly. A long-term foster that is able to help build their confidence and help them lose weight would be ideal but even a short term foster for a few days would be super helpful. They do not need to be fostered together. They are currently located in Bloomington Indiana. Let me know if you are interested. They are in a temporary foster home for another day and then they are coming back to the training facility until we can move them to another foster. But want to get them into a home environment.

❤️Freya is still looking for her forever home. ❤️

Freya is an energetic young dog that is ready for her forever family!

Freya is roughly 2 years old and is a Boxer/bully breed mix that has a big personality. Freya has typical young Boxer energy and antics (she gets excited and bounces in circles like a bouncing ball), but once she does a little bit of training, she is happy to snuggle up on the couch or a soft bed and chew her bone until she falls asleep. Because she is so spritely, Freya is still working on duration in her obedience work, but she knows Sit, Down, Place, Come, Out (for playing tug - her favorite!), is crate trained, house broken, and walks nicely on a leash.

Freya is very social and enjoys other dogs and every person that she meets. Freya does play like a typical Bully/Boxer, so she may be too much and too pushy for an older dog. She is not, however, good with cats or small animals. We would also suggest that she does not go to a home with children under ~5 simply because she may knock them down with her bouncy nature!

Freya will need to be crated when her new family is not home, or she will get into mischief. Otherwise, Freya is a fun little dog that is ready to be someone’s best friend!

Freya is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heart worm negative.

Freya is being fostered in Medina area, Ohio. Her adoptions fee is $150. As part of her adoption process, she will come with six private lessons with her foster at Atlas Canine (these can be done virtually if she is not adopted locally in NE Ohio!).

Update on Kitsune!

Kitsune received her first injection for her heartworm treatment and is tolerating it well. Her foster mom said that she is the easiest going girl— and even tolerates bath time Mohawks well 😂—and that her future family is really going to luck out with her.

🐾🍀 Meet Clover! 🍀🐾

Clover is a one year old golden retriever who came to us as an owner surrender due to no fault of her own.

Clover is a sweet, shy girl who is doing great with her foster mom’s dogs and cats. As a young golden, she is bouncy and full of energy.

Clover is working hard in her foster home to learn some basic obedience skills and toward addressing reactivity on a leash.

Stay tuned for updates on Clover as she is getting up to date medically and working through her reactivity. She is not available for applications at this time while she is working on her training foundation

Meet our Friend of the Month—Samara. She’s a 3 year old American Bully weighing in at approximately 50 lbs. Samara is a cuddle bug with adorable ears. Her training is a work in progress as she has a very short attention span, but she is coming along on sit, down, stay, place, and loose leash walking. She’s looking for an owner who is patient and has the time to exercise her both physically and mentally every day. Samara LOVES other dogs, but can sometimes be a bit much so she would do best with a dog who can match her energy level or as the only dog.
