Gemms Kennels Tibetan Terriers Gemms Kennels Tibetan Terriers a small breeder in MN, IA &NE breeding well socialized puppies for he We have been raising dogs since 1988!

Our dogs live in many states in the USA and Canada. Our Tibetan Terriers all live in the house and never in a kennel. We typically have a couple litters a year. We breed because we love Tibetan Terriers and are always looking for that next great show dog. Because they are kept in the house, we have them in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and North Dakota.... but right next door to Nebraska, South Dakota and Illinois!

Foreign bodies (items your pet ate that they shouldn’t have) are very dangerous to pets. With Thanksgiving just around the corner, keep an extra eye on your pets around dropped food, turkey bones, and tempting decorations! Foreign objects can cause obstructions, which require immediate treatment. If you believe your pet ate something they shouldn’t, bring them in right away—don’t wait for symptoms to appear. And remember, always call ahead of your arrival!

A great dog show weekend for Gemms Kennels Tibetan Terriers and Affens
Truffle and Taylor Schwartz a Group 1 and 3 in Sioux Falls. Truly a dream team.

Eli and I popped into Sioux Falls and left Friday with new Champion (pending AKC) Gemms Blue Fairy Queen Oia (Affen)

That was on our way to Winona MN where we left Saturday’s show with 3!!!! New Champions

And we can’t forget and Drae getting Winners Dog in Colorado Springs for another 3 point major!

And best of all hanging out with ALL of our amazing dog people and sister Bonnie Hartman! Everyone was so helpful and we couldn’t do it with any of you but especially the fabulous Izzy Burg!

Most exciting was our new friend Marca Bucholz won WD/BOBOH with her boy BoDee and on to an OH Group 4. Dinner with her and her parents on Saturday night was truly amazing (food and company!)!

We were in some big ribbons today in Affens and Tibetan Terriers! Today was Gemms Fiery Star Fira’s - 5th day in the ring and it is the 5th time she has earned a 3pt major by winning BOB or BOS over specials. We will wait for AKC to post results before calling her a new CHAMPION!

At a mere 13 months old, CH GEMMS HUDA PIP WITH PIZZAZZ, is holding her own in very competive specials classes at the TTCA 2024 specialties, but we are so, so proud of how well she’s doing with Jr. Izzy Burg. She and Izzy have 2 Best Junior Handler awards so far! (Huda is out of our GCH. Gemms Liza Is Dancing In The Moonlight and GCHB Corsair’s Drop And Give Me Zen). Way to go!
