The Nest: Dog Rescue and Rehabilitation The Nest is an all volunteer private 501c3 rescue organization located in Bloomington, IN. Mail can be sent to PO Box 2054, Bloomington, IN 47401.

The Nest focuses on dogs that shelters don't put up for adoption due to their age, health and or minor behavior issues. We do not have a shelter/facility. All our animals are in foster homes. Please visit our web site for more info and details on the adoption process.

Little Sam says THANK YOU from the edge of my whiskers!! We have reached our fund raising goal of $530 needed to get 7 kittens ready for their new forever homes. 1 lucky kitten has been spoken for. We have 6 more to go...All kittens will be neutered (yup, all boys), and vaccinated.

Nest News: this week, The Nest took in 7 kittens from a cat colony. After a week of medical treatment and TLC, they are now ready for new foster homes. We want to be able to help the additional 8 kittens still in the colony. We need your help to boost our medical/vet care budget. These are playful and sweet kittens. Please share: Blue Boy is still in need of a forever home. His person had to move to nursing home. Blue Boy is 10 yrs old, male (neutered), very healthy, in excellent shape, current on veterinary care (exams, vaccinations), both very sweet and independent.
