The Nest: Dog Rescue and Rehabilitation

The Nest is an all volunteer private 501c3 rescue organization located in Bloomington, IN. Mail can be sent to PO Box 2054, Bloomington, IN 47401.

The Nest focuses on dogs that shelters don't put up for adoption due to their age, health and or minor behavior issues. We do not have a shelter/facility. All our animals are in foster homes. Please visit our web site for more info and details on the adoption process.

It has been a very busy and a bit crazy 3 weeks at the nest. 3 of our kittens came down with feline Parvo (feline distemper) and of course both times it happened during the weekend...However thanks to 25 years of experience with shelter animals, we managed to get them through and they are well again. But the most wonderful news is that ALL of them have loving homes.

Eugene is such a character, full of vinegar, always ready for an adventure!! He LOVES his (!!) mouse and carries it everywhere. He has the softest black/smoky grey medium long fur. Please consider adopting.
