Celebrating Vet Tech Week
Celebrating our techs- Meet Mary! Mary is one of our amazing Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) who plays a key role in keeping our hospital running smoothly. She manages all of our inventory, oversees staff training and continuing education, and ensures that we all adhere to hospital protocols with her incredible attention to detail. You may not see her in appointments very often, but rest assured she is behind the scenes somewhere... Mary has a quick-wit and typically knows where everything is in the hospital. Mary also leads our social media efforts and, as such, she’s even written this post about herself (*post was fact checked by three fellow team members🤣)! Her dedication and leadership help keep our team organized and always learning. Thank you, Mary, for all you do!

Vet Tech Week! Let’s celebrate! Meet Ally! Ally, who was recently promoted to Site Manager, is an invaluable member of our team. Even though she is in a new role at the hospital we still want to celebrate her amazing contributions as a Veterinary Assistant! She has helped care for our patients utilizing her exceptional technical skills and vast knowledge of veterinary medicine. She's Fear-Free certified, ensuring a calm and stress-free experience for our patients, and her compassionate care shines through in everything she does. Her compassion and kindness extend to not only patients and clients, but to all of our team members- making her an outstanding leader. Always willing to lend a hand, Ally consistently goes above and beyond. Thank you, Ally, for everything you do!

We are over here celebrating Vet Tech Week! Meet Lydia! Lydia is one of our amazing Veterinary Assistants, currently enrolled in the Purdue Veterinary Nursing Distance Learning Program. She primarily works with patients coming in for appointments and is always there to support our doctors and her fellow team members. Her dedication shines through in everything she does— She is eager to understand the how and why behind what we do when caring for our patients. Lydia is making amazing progress in her technical skills and consistently brings a positive attitude to the team. Thank you, Lydia, for all your hard work and your compassionate care!
Let’s keep this Vet Tech Week party going- Meet Abbey, one of our amazing Veterinary Assistants Abbey is currently attending Indiana University and majoring in Biology as she pursues her pre-vet studies. She’s a fast learner, always eager to help, and has a genuine curiosity for expanding her knowledge of veterinary medicine. Her compassion when caring for our patients is so appreciated. . It’s Vet Tech Week! Meet Raelyn one of our amazing Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVT)! Raelyn provides expert nursing care to our patients in surgery and in appointments! She is such asset to our team- Raelyn shows initiative to get things done- she is always on the move! Raelyn helps our hospital run efficiently, ensures our patients are taken care, and is always willing to help her fellow team members. It’s Vet Tech Week- Meet Erin, one of our amazing Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVT)! Erin helps care for patients all over the hospital- from prepping patients for their surgeries and monitoring anesthesia to assisting doctors in appointments and drawing blood and placing IV catheters- Erin is an exceptionally skilled, compassionate, and hard-working Technician! Erin also oversees our laboratory maintenance- ensuring that all our in-house machines (machines for: Chemistries, CBCs, Urinalysis-oh my!) are in tip-top shape so we can obtain accurate results for our patients. She is always willing to help our patients, clients, and fellow team members! Thank you for all your do, Erin--we appreciate you so much!

Alyssa excels in appointments, providing efficient and attentive care to not only each and every patient, but is also supportive our of veterinarians- anticipating what they need and helping the day run smoothly and efficiently! She has shown incredible growth as a veterinary assistant, expanding her skills in surgical support (monitoring anesthesia and prepping patients for surgery) and performing dental cleanings and radiographs. As a Fear Free Certified Professional, Chika is a passionate advocate for patient comfort and safety- this is demonstrated in her skilled nursing care of our surgical patients, patients receiving dental cleaning and assessments, and in assisting in appointments. Chika is always expanding her knowledge in veterinary medicine- she seeks out educational opportunities and applies what she has learned to help care for our patients.
