REMINDER!!! Please give us a call as soon as possible if you are needing food or medication refills to ensure they will be ready for pick up today.
We will be closed Tuesday, December 24th – Sunday, December 29th for Christmas. We will reopen Monday, December 30th from 7:00am – 6:00pm. We will then be closed Tuesday, December 31st – Wednesday, January 1st for New Years Eve and New Years Day. We will reopen on Thursday, January 2nd from 7:00am – 6:00pm.
We will resume our normal business hours on Monday, January 6th.

We are so excited to introduce a new member of our team!! Please join us in welcoming Dr. Christy Schlegel!!

Dr. Christy Schlegel (formerly Dr. Victor) is excited to join the team at Town and Country Veterinary Clinic! Dr. Schlegel grew up on her family’s farm in Clay City, Indiana and moved to Bloomington when she attended Indiana University. Other than the 4 years of veterinary school at Purdue and a year living in Boston, she has been a Bloomington-resident for the past 3 decades. She has always been fascinated by science and biology, so veterinary medicine was an obvious career choice (and now she can’t imagine doing anything else). While at Purdue, she helped found a student chapter of the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) and also received the AAFP Outstanding Senior Student Award for proficiency in feline surgery and medicine. She continues to proudly call herself a crazy cat lady.

She enjoys birdwatching, tending to her extensive tropical houseplant collection, backpacking, weightlifting and RV camping with her wife, Kelly. She is the proud mama to 4 delightful humans and 2 canine good-boys. The household is managed by 4 specimens of feline supremacy. She looks forward to meeting you and your beloved pets!
