Meet Natasha and Willow! Natasha has been leasing Willow for 4 years. Willow is the tallest horse at SCR (17 hands!) but Natasha says that she is a true sweetheart who especially loves the kiddos at the ranch. Here are some thoughts Natasha shared about her experience leasing at SCR:

“Willow and I have been able to accomplish so much together as partners. From attending clinics, sorting and herding cows, bringing in herds of horses from grass fields, working at liberty, and more! I have loved seeing Willow grow in her ability to take on any challenge we face. We are currently working on our Parelli level 3 which includes: riding, groundwork, and liberty sections.

Working with horses is entirely a representation of yourself, and it's not always a comforting reflection. I joke often I have “the energy of a thousand suns,” but with lots of support and practice I have found a greater ability to hone my skill in guiding that energy not only in horseback riding, but really in all aspects of my life.

Leasing is for everyone! Can't afford to buy a horse? Lease! Have a kid that might outgrow their horse? Lease! Not sure horses are something you want to do forever? Lease! It's truly a great experience for all. Jenn and Wayne do an excellent job of fostering a welcome learning environment for all ages and the community at SCR is unparalleled.” ❤️

Stone Creek Ranch offers both Pasture and Stall boarding!
All Boarding Includes:
• Grain and hay feeding daily
• Horses are free to roam in one of 9 beautiful pastures
• Free choice hay or grass depending on the season
• Horses are inspected for good health daily
• Use of the outdoor arena and round pen
• Use of the Confidence Course
• Use of the 12 miles of trails on property
• Storage space for all riding equipment in a secure, code-key controlled tack room
• Access to wash racks and ample trailer parking
• Roomy 10x12 private stalls with rubber mats for stall boarders
*Stall boarding includes all of the above in addition to daily stall cleaning and turn out services, grain twice a day, and free choice hay while in the stall.

Congrats to Juni for passing her Parelli Level 1 assessment. She worked all summer to accomplish this goal, and she always had a positive attitude. We are so proud of what she has accomplished!

Here's what Juni had to say about her experience: "I've worked very hard on this for a long time now. Thanks to my instructors and my horse Artemis! It was a totally new and eye opening experience working with Artemis. Artemis is a mustang born in the wild. She had training but I had to work with her on the Level 1 groundwork. This is a symbol of what she and I did in this time we've had together."

• A wonderful horse that you can use ANY time
• Use of the trails, challenge course, trot track, arenas, and grooming area
• All feed, medical, and shoeing
• Use of the ranch’s grooming equipment, lead ropes, halters, pads, and saddles
• Space for your personal equipment
• $335 per month – a great value!
