Gaaaah! This dog. 😍Daisy had her private lesson today and she did so well. Loose leash walking, “quiet” and practicing her Recall. Good girl!
Beau is practicing controlling his excitement around doors. After all, something interesting might be on the other side! But great things happen if Beau offers to sit instead of dragging his dad or jumping up. Well done, you two. Watching you work together is glorious.
Good things happen for quiet Beagles. ♥️🐾🌟♥️
We met a new friend. This is Poppy, and she will be joining us in class very soon. 😍
Bruce, Dax, and a little loose leash walking. Good job, you two! (Clover, we missed you 🥰)
Hazel and Ziggy can run like the wind, which made practicing “stay” more doable in today's class. We missed you, Prince! #offleashlife #dogtraining #dogfriends #mndogs
*We feel pain like you do. *We bleed like you do. *We get scared like you do. 🐾♥️Please don't hurt us when you train us. ♥️🐾
We play!
It is so much fun watching adult dogs play. And it is priceless to have a play session before working in class. This group, who had never met each other before last week, is a great fit. They only need a few minutes to run around, and then they can focus on their people. ♥️
This stunning boy is Rex. 🔥🔥🔥
Three new friends
We had a great time with these new dogs in class this afternoon, and we predict all our relationships (dog and human) will blossom!
We warmly welcome Prince, Hazel, and Ziggy. 💞🐾
Puppy Play
We had a busy night with these three last night, and we warmly welcome Bailey — the new kid on the block. 😍
Tonight’s vibe. Welcome Bruce, Paisley, Hobbes, and Clover! We are going to have some fun. 😁
We interrupted their play session, but we’re pretty sure it would’ve gone on for a long time. We monitor play closely and give many breaks, but these three have always done well together. 🌟 #letdogsplay
Yay for Recalls! Missy, Posey, and Dudley: Youre doing a great job! #happydogs #leashyourdog
Puppy Kindergarten class today was busy, busy, busy. ❤️😃❤️
Bell and her mom plan a family stroll with children and grandchildren, and we're here to help them get there safely. Spring is in the air! 🌸
The advanced Kindergarteners are in the house! Welcome back Piper, Halo, and Lumpia! (Vanna, we will see you next week) ❤️
This dog doesn't like having his harness put on, and it's a new problem. We are changing harnesses, but in the meantime, we are breaking the problem into smaller pieces and slowing down.
— is the problem going over the head?
— is the problem coming off?
— is the problem the way the harness feels when resting on his back?
We will figure these things out as we go. But in this first training session, look what slowing down, being patient, and watching the dog’s body language has done.
He is willing to play the game, and he is willing to put his head through the opening.
Both steps are better than dodging, trying to escape, and avoiding the whole process. Kudos to his family! They are doing good work.
Bodie, you are a star ✨, and we want you to run and chase as dogs should do, AND we will help you come when mom calls.
