We have a new friend. This handsome fellow’s family came to us to discuss Resource Guarding. While it's smart for dogs to protect their treasures, they can cause harm when challenged.

But we aren't going to “show him who’s boss” or “be the alpha” — instead, we aim to change how he feels about the situation— feel better and offer a different response. ♥️ Remember, never punish the growl! Say thank you.
