Keystone Riders - Please there is a rumour going around that there was a horse hit on Route 80. That is absolutely not true (there is a fence the entire side of Route 80 so no access to it) and we hear it was started by someone who was not even here. We did have a loose horse but we caught him and everything and everyone is OK. Thanks so much for everyone that helped and a thank you to our neighbors for always being so understanding when we come visiting.

Pennsylvania NBHA Members - Keystone Horse Center is excited to again host the 2024 NBHA Pennsylvania State Show on September 6-8, 2024.

Keystone Riders - we are a go for tonight in the indoor arena. While we did have some rain, we are definitely not experiencing the heavy rains forecasted. Our rain has ended and we will start our jackpot at 7:30 in the indoor arena followed by Pole Exhibitions and the Pole Class.

Tomorrow's Open starts at Noon and Sunday at 10AM. Weather is set to be a good one for the weekend so come join us if you can.

We hope everyone is weathering the storm ok and we will keep all of you who are experiencing difficulties in our prayers.

Keystone Family - Here is an update on this weekend's event. There is rain expected for the entire East Coast but it is forecasted to be over by 7:00 PM Friday night here and the rest of the weekend is supposed to be beautiful weather. Because of the amount of rain expected during the day tomorrow, we will run the Friday night Jackpot in the indoor arena starting at 7:30 followed by Pole exhibitions and Pole Class.

Of course, if the weather forecasters turn out to be wrong and we do not receive the amount of rain expected and the outdoor pen is not under water, we will revert back to running outside Friday Night. Saturday and Sunday schedule will not change.

We do have two indoor arenas so there will be a place for everyone to ride no matter what the weather is.

Slot Race Riders - This is the last call for you to declare your Horse/Rider for the slot race. It will shut down automatically at 11PM. We will not delay it any further - we will post the draw tomorrow afternoon. If you miss that deadline, and have multiple horses, it will be a hardship for you as the system will put you back to back on your horses. There will also be a $50 fee, per horse, that must be paid before you run or your forfeit your slot, if you miss this deadline.

Slot Race Riders - the second slot race of the 2024 season is almost here!
We have posted a schedule above to make it easier to plan for the weekend. Remember, you don't have to be riding in the slot race to come - there is a Jackpot Friday night and Sunday. But, if you want a slot for the weekend, we will post a link below to reserve one for you. And for those of you who just come to watch the fun, don't forget to take part in the Calcutta at 10:00AM Saturday If you missed the Calcutta last show, don't miss it for this one so bring your cash and get to bidding on our awesome slot race riders!!
Our plan is to post the draw Thursday evening - would I like to do it sooner, you bet but last time we had to keep pushing the time back because we did not get the submissions as requested. Therefore, the deadline for giving us the horse/rider names will now be WEDNESDAY, JULY 24th at Noon. Anyone who misses this deadline will be subject to a $50 late entry fee charged that must be paid before you run or you will be scratched from the draw without any refunds. Please do not miss this deadline because it will only delay the posting of the draw.

Update on Lee Soule Benefit Show - Everyone, as many of you know, Lee Soule is battling cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. All of us know of someone who has fought this fight and its difficulties with making sure exposure is limited. The good news in all of this is that Lee and Debbie plan to join us for our annual July 4th Pig Roast when Lee is feeling stronger the week after treatment. They want to come and see everyone so we are going to be moving their show to that weekend as well. Many of you have already donated or are donating items for the Silent Auction so we ask all of you to bring those items to our July 5-6-7th show (Silent Auction and Pig Roast will be on Saturday, the 6th). Plan on coming out to see and uplift Lee - I know he and Debbie miss seeing all of you!

Well another exciting slot race is in the books. We would like to thank everyone who came out this weekend from riders to spectators. It was a fun and exciting atmosphere for all because of you.

And, a big thank you to all of you for being so welcoming to Mary Walker - she was so nice and so gracious to take pictures with many of you (ourselves included) and complimentary of all of you but we wouldn't have expected anything less from our Keystone family.

Slot Race Riders - the horse/rider declaration time has come and gone and we are now getting messages that riders have missed the deadline. Therefore, we are going to reopen the Horse/Rider sign up form and keep it open until 8:00PM. Because of this delay, unfortunately, we will post the draw by 10AM Friday morning. If you miss the 8:00PM deadline, you can still come to the show office to sign up but you will be an automatic add-on.

We still have slots available (Cash only at show office) so we will accept riders who decide, at the last minute, they would like to enter until all slots are sold and the first horse runs. However, you will be an add-on to the race.

Keystone Family - we are sharing news about Lee Soule today. Lee is battling a terrible illness and needs our Keystone Family to help him get through to the days of sitting in "BS Alley" (you know the sign) with his family and friends.

Lee and Debbie have both been long time friends and supporters (many of you see them working the gate or helping us out during our shows) and it's our turn to help them get through this difficult time.

Come join us for the "Soule Strong" benefit show the weekend of June 28-29-30 with show proceeds to go to the Soule's to help with mounting medical costs. We are asking for donations for a Chinese auction - great time for all of our riders who make those incredible products to get your business name out while supporting the Soule's or for anyone to donate to help the Soule's who have done so much for barrel racers during the years.

And, if anyone is interested in having a stallion auction to promote your wonderful studs, reach out and we will make an auction book showcasing them and your breeding.

Slot Race Riders - it seems the year is flying by us already and we are 7 weeks away from our first slots races for 2024. We have limited slots available for the May 4D Slot Race ($800) and the July 3D Slot Race ($1,000) entry. We are on a waitlist for the September 5D Slot Race ($600). These are going to be exciting events this year and we are looking forward to seeing who walks away with these great payouts.

We are so excited to start 2024 off with another exciting weekend. This year we've added a target buckle for each show to our Saddle and Buckle series along with added money. And, by popular demand, we will run our Friday Night Under the Lights Jackpot in our outdoor pen starting April 26th, weather permitting. Don't forget about our Annual Pig Roast (July 6th) and our Keystone Futurity (August 30th-September 1st) weekends along with our Finals weekend (October 12-13th) which is Open to everyone but those riders who ride in 10 out of 20 show days run for additional added money.
