Keystone Winter Series Riders - We waited until this morning to assess where we were for this weekends show. As you can tell from the picture, still under ice and the temps are not in our favor to make this all go away and we still have more bad weather in the forecast. Therefore, we are cancelling the show for Saturday.

You know who is to blame for all of this don't you? Punxsutawney Phil, our famous Pennsylvania Groundhog, this is the year he finally is spot on. We will keep you posted on rescheduled dates if winter gives us a break anytime soon.

Keystone Winter Series Riders - ugh is all I can say. We just can't get the temps to get rid of the snow and all of the underlying ice underneath. With these temps, anything that melts is freezing back up. So you know what this means - no show this weekend. We will keep you posted on when we will reschedule.

Slot Race Riders – Want to be part of the biggest slot race payouts in the Northeast. Here's your chance - the deadline has passed for those who owned slots previously and we are now opening up all of the slots, on a first come basis, to everyone who wants to get in on these big payouts. We paid out over $1,275,000 from 2023-2024 so here's your chance!!

We are limiting the number of slots to 250 each race and this will stay the same going forward for the future. Our Keystone BB1 slot race, May 24, 2025, is a 5D with a projected $135,000 purse, $600 entry fee (250 slots - 50 Placings). The Keystone BB2 slot race, July 12, 2025, is a 4D with a projected payout of $180,000, $800 entry fee (250 slots - 40 Placings). The Keystone BB3 slot race, September 27, 2025, is a 5D with a projected $135,000 payout and a $600 entry fee (250 slots - 50 Placings). Total projected slot race payouts is $450,000 in 3 races!!!

We have some slots available currently so if you want to get in on the big payouts for 2025, make sure you fill out the reservation form below and send in your deposit to guarantee it.

Remaining payment schedules are noted on the flyers after your deposit This year, you will have an option to pay by check (preferred), PayPal or Credit Card. The links for each of the races will have more information on payment options and schedules.

Winter Series Riders - Well guess what - it's still snowing here and, while we were hoping it was just the dusting the weatherman forecasted - they were wrong (hard to believe). With cold temps, wind, rain, ice, more snow, etc. etc. etc., we are again going to cancel the show for Saturday.

Again, as you all are now aware from my weekly posts about weather, horses and rider safety are our number one priority. Our original schedule has us with a show on Saturday, January 25th so we will see you then (hate to write it but "weather permitting").

Winter Series Riders - Well we took a walk around the facility this morning hoping that the sunshine and warmer temperatures the weathermen predicted were true and enough to start melting the snow and underlying ice away. Unfortunately, the weathermen are wrong - now the forecast is cloudy, and colder temps so nothing will be melting away today.

Again, as you all know, horses and rider safety are our number one priority so we are going to cancel the show for tomorrow and reschedule it for next Saturday, January 18th. Our original schedule also has us with a show on Saturday, January 25th so the nice thing is your horses will be ready for both days.

Winter Series Riders - it's happening again. Mother Nature is again threatening a snow event for this Saturday. To make sure that our riders and horses are safe, we are going to move the Saturday show to Sunday. Sunday's weather is forecasted to be sunny and warmer.

If you reserved exhibitions and/or pre-entered for Saturday, those reservations/entries will move to Sunday. If you are unable to make the Sunday show, please PM us and let us know and we will cancel them for you.

While we understand that this change may not work for everyone, our priority, as always, is the safety of our riders and horses.

Slot Race Riders – We paid out over $1,275,000 from 2023-2024!! January 15th is coming up and all slot race deposits will be due.

After listening to feedback on our 2024 slots, we have decided to make the following changes that were the most requested and we thank you for reaching out. We have limited the number of slots to 250 each race and this will stay the same going forward for the future. Our Keystone BB1 slot race, May 24, 2025, is changing to a 5D with a projected $135,000 purse, $600 entry fee (250 slots - 50 Placings). The Keystone BB2 slot race, July 12, 2025, is changing to a 4D with a projected payout of $180,000, $800 entry fee (250 slots - 40 Placings). The Keystone BB3 slot race, September 27, 2025, will remain a 5D with a projected $135,000 payout and a $600 entry fee (250 slots - 50 Placings). Total projected slot race payouts is $450,000!!!

Remember, if you owned a slot for either the BB1, BB2 or BB3 races in the past, you are guaranteed a slot in those same races for 2025 as long as you meet the deposit deadlines. If you leased a slot from someone, this is your opportunity to own your own and, as in the past, you can sell or lease your slot – as long as it is paid.

eystone Winter Series Riders - the two elves pictured have been busy setting up the photo shoot area for anyone that wants to get some Christmas pictures this year. It's ready for your family, friends, dogs, horses, etc. that you want pictures of). With the recent injury of Buddy, our office greeter that you see in the window show weekends, we realize how important it is to get those photos!

And, as many of you have purchased his incredible action shots during the regular show season, Lance Jeffrey has offered his services for those of you who would rather a professional picture, rather than the cell phone setup we have. Lance is not charging a fee for the sitting session and says he will also gift an Xmas picture to you. Remember, Lance makes his living as a photographer and we do not pay him, your purchases do so we want to give Lance a big thank you for offering to do this for our riders. Please reach out to Lance on Facebook to tell him if you are interested in taking advantage of his generous offer. Lance will also be taking pictures during the race events so make sure you stop by to see his action barrel shots too.

The online option closes at 8:00AM on Saturday morning - after that you will need to sign up at the show office (anyone who submits an entry after 10:00AM will be an automatic add on for the Xmas Tree Class - first class of the day (please see show flyer for complete schedule).

Remember, this show is cash only (no checks or PayPal accepted) and your entries must be paid before you run but the online option. Don't forget the gift swap (please bring your item wrapped or in a holiday bag)! Finally, anyone who wants to set up a vendor/bake/tack sale table, etc., it's free!

Keystone Cafe will be open with delicious hot food, drinks, snacks so bring your appetite. See you Saturday!

**Christmas Tree Race December 14 Update** Link for Exhibitions is posted below.
We've posted the details before but here they are again: Barrel Exhibitions 9:00 to 11:00, Pole Exhibitions 11:00 to 11:30AM, Open arena and then we will start with our Xmas Tree Barrel Race - Not before noon and yes, you are going to run around Xmas trees) followed by our Pole Class, Regular Barrel Class, 50YD Dash and Speed Barrels (standard poles/barrels and these four classes are our pointed/buckle classes for the season).

And what else are we doing?? A prize drawing for our Xmas Tree Barrel Class - all riders who enter the class automatically entered for the drawing, a photo display where we will be setting up an area that you can take pictures (selfies, family, pets, etc. - all you need to do is bring your camera (regular or cell phone) with a tripod set up ready for you to snap those shots!! Open to everyone - you don't have to be a rider to take advantage of getting some great Xmas photos.

Don't forget our Gift Swap too! Open to everyone who wants to participate - all we ask is that you bring an item ($20 value or less) for a swap. What do I bring? Well bring any item that, if you were winning it, you would like to get – and it can be for people, horses, cats, dogs, etc.). How does it work? You bring a gift, we give you a ticket. We will mix it all up and tape a winning ticket to a gift and that’s what you win. Everyone is a winner but you are welcome to swap amongst yourselves if you like.

And, we have had a number of people asking to be vendors - free of charge. So far, we have clothing vendor, crafters, bakers, riders bringing tack, etc. If you have something or sell or a service to offer, feel free to come and set up.

All classes are $35 each and, if you run in all four of the pointed classes (does not include the Xmas Tree class), you pay $30 a class, instead of $35. There will be no dress code for this show (no ball caps) so if you have a favorite ugly sweater, feel free to break it out! Lance Jeffries will be here taking those action shot pictures too!

The Keystone Cafe will be open! Breakfast, lunch, hot or cold foods, coffee, iced coffees, milkshakes, pretzels, etc. Everything is fresh made just the way you want it so bring your appetites.

Keystone Riders – Did you know that we paid out over $1,275,000 from 2023-2024!! Want to be part of that action in 2025? Start making plans to come to our Keystone Barrel Classic series and our Keystone Classic slot races. We have already released our dates for our regular series and are finalizing our season details so stay tuned. But, we can tell you now that again, for 2025, we are not raising our rates - our stalls are still $65 for the weekend, hookups $55 and our exhibitions will stay at $5 too! We have not raised our rates in over 15 years – we want to keep our shows affordable not nickel and dime our riders with other fees like tie-outs, etc.
