Good afternoon! Update on Aaren for those wanting to check in. (12/30/24)
He had a follow-up appointment in Asheville this morning which is why the salon is closed today. His splints were removed and he received some new removable braces. We have another follow-up appointment to get x-rays in 6 weeks. At that time, he should be much more mobile. He has a PT appointment scheduled for this afternoon. We are so thankful for your prayers and encouragement! We were given a 3 month heal-time estimate meaning most of his appointments will have to be canceled or rescheduled. I am doing everything in my power to get as many of you in as possible, but there are only so many hours in the day and only so many days in the week so please be patient with me! I am just thankful he is still with us in one piece. God has blessed us and surrounded us with amazing friends and family. We are truly thankful!

*** Update is under this previous message *** Hi there again! Olivia here. We are closed again today since Aaren and I are still at the hospital in Asheville. He is doing pretty good considering the circumstances. His wrists surgery went well yesterday despite the complicated fractures. He is eating some, walking a little and able to talk. The rest of the week we may or may not be open depending on if he gets discharged today. I will keep everyone posted as major updates arise. Thank you for all of your love and support. I have my friend Camlin, responding to your texts as I do not have the business phone with me. We will do our best to get back with you in a timely manner if you have any questions regarding appointments. We love all of you guys! You're the best clients a groomer could ask for! ❤️🙏

Update: Unfortunately I have received news that Dakota won't be able to return in January due to some other family matters so it'll just be me for a little while! Please understand this may mean we will have to cancel some pups since I can't do 3 groomers worth of dogs every day. 😅 If you have an appointment within the next 3 months, and I have to cancel your appointment I understand if you need to find another groomer until we find a groomer to take Dakota's place. I'm very sorry to have such sad news. But I promise we'll do everything in our power to get back to normal as quickly as possible. ❤️

Hi everyone! Olivia here again. Aaren had a bad crash on his bike today in NC. He is in the ER because his wrists and face are broken. The salon will be closed tomorrow since I'm here in the hospital with him in NC. I currently plan on keeping the rest of the week open, but it really depends on his condition. Please be praying for him.
On a side note, we will be needing another groomer to take his spot while he's on the mend next year. If anyone knows anyone that has experience grooming, please let me know.

(Olivia here) I want to make a tribute post for my childhood dog, Rudy. To those who don't know, I started my grooming career using a human hair clipper from Walmart, the scissors that were included in the kit, and a very very VERY patient dog named Rudy. He grew up with me and my brother just like any pup does, playing outside, sleeping with us in our pillow forts, incessantly barking in the bathroom at night because he got in trouble for peeing on the carpet, and patiently standing on a card table while I "trimmed his ears one more time," at 11:00pm. Nothing compares to the love a child has for their pet. Rudy passed away this morning in Goodletsville, my hometown. He will be missed but always remembered as my #1 pup. ♥️ Rest in peace little guy.
