Do to unforeseen circumstances we will be closed to the public today. all animals have had kennels cleaned, fed, and watered we are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause the public we will still be available by phone. thank you for your understanding and patience. So please pray for all of those who are working on this issue as they are dealing with these cold temperatures to fix this issue as quickly as possible. We here at the Humane Society greatly appreciate all their hard work!

A little bit of why we don’t have a lot of dogs showing for available for adoption! These guys are now available for adoption we have been getting them cleaned up and checked out from an animal hoarding situation. We have them scheduled for neutering all are males that are in this post we do have one female but she is currently waiting for confirmation if she is possibly pregnant or not. We have been working with them on socializing and potty training. They were kept all in a kennel together and not let out to see sunlight or grass. They are coming along great and really starting to show some adorable personalities! We are working with them on grooming and getting them use to baths. These guys are really sweet and learning a lot.

PSA: MISSING DOG!!
Ricky, a 10-year-old Havanese, was staying with a family friend in Dundas, MN when he failed to come in from a potty break. He has been missing since Christmas with no recent sightings. He has visited this family for years, so it's unclear why he decided to wander off. If you see Ricky, please call immediately with sighting information. He is by nature an anxious boy, so please do not approach him, whistle for him or call out, as that will likely cause him to run.

It’s really sad we even have to make this post! Unfortunately a former volunteer is going around an collecting our donation boxes and saying they are with our organization still! We have tried to change the way they look to ID the boxes and some have come back completely blank with no ID on them. We ask all our supporters and donation locations to contact us and only allow Crystal Hollman to have her ID on her to show when picking us the donation boxes! We are so sorry for this inconvenience and we greatly thank our supporters in the community for helping us in this situation. The animals appreciate your understanding and continued support and thank you!
