As we approach the final stages of our rescue’s little journey, we find ourselves incredibly thankful for our true friends, MikeandChristy Flynn at Flynn Fields Rescue, Inc.
Not only have they been here to help and support us since the very beginning, they have become even closer friends towards our rescue’s end here.
I’m happy to tell you they have already taken Hamlet, Effie and Wilbur and all three are doing fantastic!🙌❤️
Later this week, the final three piggies will be going. Lucy, Georgia and my special guy, Pugsley. 🐽🐖
Although we will miss these sweet piggies tremendously, we will only be a short drive away and plan on helping Mike and Christy at least once a month!
Not only that, we will be taking a total of 5 of their goats to add to our personal herd to be loved and spoiled furever!!!🐐
Mike and Christy work endlessly at giving their animals the very best and we want nothing less for them. ❤️

The suspense is over! Puddin' has arrived at her new home, a cozy little house at Sisu Refuge, after a fun-filled journey with the girls. Sisu Refuge will be her forever home!

Before we arrived at Sisu, we picked her up at UGA where they completed her spay surgery and re-measured her for a custom cart. The cart we had, was not sufficient in suiting her special needs. And her new cart has been ordered from Sisu!
I know they love her just as much as we do, there at Sisu. She will have more space that she has ever had, more stimulation with other pigs and a new piggie friend named Tuney. (I even hear a stray Rooster and her have bonded)!
Thank you to Erika and Joseph for opening their home and hearts to Puddin! We love y’all so much and now she is safe and happy there with you!

Dear Community & Followers,

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude that we share the news of our decision to close J&C Farm and Rescue. Over the past (almost) three years, our journey has been one of compassion, dedication, and countless precious moments shared with over 150 animals who found sanctuary with us.

Each rescue story was a testament to the power of love and resilience, reminding us daily of the profound connection we share with all beings. From the gentle nuzzles of our goats to the playful antics of our pigs, every soul touched our lives in ways we could have never imagined.

However, after much reflection and consideration, we have come to the difficult realization that it's time for this chapter to close. While our mission remains as vital as ever, we must acknowledge the challenges that lie ahead and honor the well-being of both our beloved animals and our dedicated team.

To all who have supported us along this extraordinary journey—whether through donations, volunteer work, or simply by spreading awareness—your kindness has been the cornerstone of our efforts. I am proud to say we rescued over 150 animals! From Guinea pigs, pigeons, rabbits, goats, pigs and kittens… and even a tortoise!
Your generosity has not only transformed the lives of these animals but has also enriched our own lives immeasurably.

Though our rescue may be closing its gates, the impact of our collective compassion will endure forever. We will carry the memories of each and every soul we've had the privilege to care for, cherishing them as a testament to the boundless capacity for love within us all.

As we embark on the next chapter of our journey, we invite you to carry forward the spirit of empathy and kindness that has defined our rescue. Together, may we continue to advocate for the welfare of all beings and create a world where compassion knows no bounds.

Please know we are struggling to deal with this and would love your prayers and understanding. Continue to follow us and see the journey we have begun to place our beloved animal friends in their forever homes!

I absolutely HATE doing this. But I have to beg for your help! 😭
My husband and I have been paying for 90% of all feed, supplies and medical for two months now. We still have not gotten answers from FB (meta) concerning the “hold” on our donations payout. Therefore, we cannot access the funds that are there! And there SHOULD be a very helpful amount there for us to utilize.
If this doesn’t get resolved and money doesn’t come in soon. We will
Close our rescue. I just cannot do this from our pockets. I just can’t. Feed is so expensive. And only continues to rise. This is why we say “no” to intakes right now.

There are many ways you can help. ‼️
